I love Nintendo's philosophy toward gaming. The games will launch when they are sufficiently polished and will never release in an unfinished form. That is on top of offering a wide variety of games with every budget tier on the spectrum.
It's no surprise that they've been so successful. They stick to the very core principles... Principles that much of the industry is abandoning to their own detriment.
What Nintendo is doing is beyond that. They are literally just sitting on a mountains worth of games that are done.

Metroid Prime 4, DK, Mario Kart 9, Mario Odyssey 2, Luigi Mansion 4…… all them are done and ready to be launched for Switch 2
You won’t be getting an Odyssey 2. Get that out your head. Sequels never sell as much. The next 3D Mario will be completely different
Gonna have to be something really fresh. Open, inter-connected world with a lot of variety. My theory though is that we're going to see Mario 3D all stars remastered first with all of the games remastered and also including Galaxy 2. Bundle it with the new system.
That would be a helluva launch line up.
Good list.. Monolith Soft's next big JRPG could very well be year one for Switch 2 as well... Xenoblade Chronicles 4 or something new? Not so sure if Luigi's Mansion 4 will be ready year one but can def see it by year 2...

*Dying Light dev team cancelled the cloud version of Dying Light 2 at the behest of Nintendo and has it ready and waiting for Switch2.*

*RDR team has RDR2 at the ready for Switch 2.*

Honestly... i dont care what games yhey have Rated, finished, or in the final stages of development... except one. I REALLY wanna know whats going on with Metroid Prime 4. It was announced to be in development OVER EIGHT YEARS AGO... and since then, pretty much Radio silence.
Is MP4 EVER actually getting released??? Only time will tell.
Having click bait titles is one thing, but I'm sorry this is just garbage. You can't be giving a video this title and then literally not mention anything about switch 2 titles at all. This is the kind of thing that makes people unsubscribe. Do better with titles.

This is to be expected. Nintendo has announced no new games for the Switch (beyond ports, remasters, etc.) All major projects have moved over to Switch 2.

If Nintendo launches with Mario Kart 9 Playstation and Xbox aren't going to keep up with sales Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sold over 60 million copies on switch alone
PS5 will be fine regardless. It has no must have games yet is still hitting PS4 sales numbers.
Of course they do...its not a suprise at all. The used the wii u failure to back stock a whole shelf of stuff. Ppl think tears of the kingdom really took 5 years to make. It prob took 2,while they waited to see what the next move was gunna be, they have the next zelda basicly done. Theyre likely tweaking it n stuff,but its prob next to done. Same for a kirby. A yoshi. Amother mario party. A wario ware. Etc etc

The GameCube didn’t have a particularly good launch lineup. I think you should compare to the original switch, which is legendary. First 12 months of switch were so unbelievably good that 2017 was the best year in gaming carried entirely by Nintendo until 2023.
I really do think that Nintendo (in fact I predicted it like 25 years ago) is playing a long game with competition, putting their focus way ahead. Hardware wars are for fan boys. Video games are software. PC will always be king of hardware so long as they are around.
..lol... What I'm saying is that I think the next launch will be very successful. They're in a position as close to what they were in back with the SNES as they'll ever be again. These are great times for Nintendo.

Nintendo has always been focused on the entertainment value of their systems. Hardware has always come last compared to the software.

3p support gives them that comfort zone to do so with the odd remaster.

The Switch can already play cross-platform games that are on PS4. Therefore the Switch 2 will be able to play cross-platform games that are on PS5, or it won't be a new generation. Switch 2 will be competing against the PS6 for a few years, so it may be better in some ways than a PS5.
If the dock increases performance and resolution significantly, Nintendo may even sell the dock separately. That way you can have your "Switch 2 Lite" for $399 at launch, maybe it will even work with the old dock. Then if you want the next-gen 4K graphics, you buy the new dock for $199.
When Tears of the Kingdom was announced they said they started development of it. That was in 2019. 2022 Aonuma said it was done. 2023 it gets released. Then the president at the Investor’s meeting said ToTK development lasted 6 years!!!

All I need is open world Mario on the level of Xenoblade Chronicles open world.
Doing it this way also means that their development teams are free to work on games as long as they need too, while making sure their releasing consistently with what they already have. And because of that any game their holding onto can now be turned into Switch 2 titles and we'd never even know they were actually suppose to come out for the first switch.
I can't wait to see what Nintendo has in store for us next generation. ❤

Especially in a video that doesn’t say that. In fact I haven’t used that terminology in a title since…. Man has it really been 5 months? And I used the word unbelievable in a thumbnail one time a month ago, and the only time in 2024.
You see what you’re doing though? You don’t like my content, so instead of talking facts, you’re sensationalizing what my titles and thumbnails actually are.
And that’s totally cool for you as it conveys how you feel. What if I told you that’s how the titles of my videos work in comparison…. Representing how I feel.

It's probably going to be more than what we realize. I wouldn't be surprised if the Switch 2 launches with more games than Xbox and Sony has already made combined this generation, which isn't hard to do considering it's been a paperweight.
Maybe the delay is to also manufacture more units. It was hard to get necent consoles, including the original switch. That said it does not matter how many they make if scalppers are not delt with

Instead of making unsubstantiated claims, why not provide evidence to prove MS and Sony don't sit on games other then your words in a video.
It could be because it was never rumored for those 2 to have ever done that with their games but with Nintendo it has a track record
@@mugendragon100 Yet both Microsoft and Sony have shadow dropped games before, thus indicating they do sit on some games. As for sitting on big AAA games that’s just stupid as you are not getting any return on your big investment then, and it’s costing you whilst you don’t do that.
@@marksapolloa shadow drop isn’t an indication that Tango was “sitting on” Hi-Fi rush, it’s an indication that they felt it was ready to launch.
Because the indications are the public ratings boards, which weren’t happening for the other companies. Would you like me to what… show something that doesn’t exist?
