That's a stretched fake hardtail with an airbag. Definable going to on my next build and put super soft springs in my forks and run air lines to them too. Cut the kickstand off and just lay frame when I park 😎

I purchased a mono strut and it’s on the way. But my question is when I put it in and it lowers the rear swing arm, will I have to do anything with the break rod? I don’t know if that’s the right word for it.

Im looking at the entire mono-strut kit you offer and Im interested, but I cant seem to find anything about relocating or removing the fuel pump/filter that's under there. What's your recommendation and what are my options?

Quick question if i run the hard tail conversion on my vtc600 do i need to chop my rear fender and run a bobber set up or can i keep the stock rear fender and be able to put my wife on the rear?? Looking to lower my bike and have a hardtail feel but still be able to have a passenger would this be a good route?
@@willito_ The 9.00" length ( hole center to hole center) is to drop the bike just about as low as it can go without frame modification and still maintain good handling physics and steering response. So you will get around a 1.75"-2" drop depending on tire choice. These struts will bring the swing arm closer to the rear fender horns/forward frame loop.
I habe covered this about 400 times. You would need to completely redesign the transmission on a ahaft drive to change the direction of the drive shaft. And you would lose a ton of power. Best way to convert a shaft drive to chain- sell the shaft drive, buy a chain drive bike lol
Ok I get it the direction of the transmission spins opposite direction. I know you haved covered it but if the direction is opposite that a big problem

I got a new chain and sprockets went to change them and I can not get the axle out let me tell you I don't think it has ever been changed any way I can get it out without messing it up
@@TJBRUTALCUSTOMS I bought the bike it has been setting in a garage for a few years but when I take the nut off of it I can clamp vice grips on the spacer and can barely turn the axle with a ratchet I figured I might have to heat it but that could mess bearings up and seals you gat a lot of experience with these bikes thanks for the info I been staying on your website I love the parts I've got so far from you I'll be back in contact for some pipes and handle bars soon I want it to look like one of your bikes I love them thanks again
@@WendellJones-f6d ok first, vice grips need to stay away from the bike. Spay some panther piss on it if you want, but just get a long brass round bar and start tapping it out. Rust, dirt, old grease can really glue things together. Heat is not gonna help you here.

Youd honestly have to cut the frame and rake the neck but you'd also need to move the downtubes and the backbone a lil bit to go up and out or else get a long front end. Major fabrication undertaking there lol

yes you use a brass drift to tap the axle out. be careful. if its THAT stuck your swingarm may be bent. doubtful, but ive seen it happen..

absolutely! The mono strut just allows the bike to be hardtailed without turning the frame into a rigid frame.
My rear shocks are so stiff on my 07 shadow 750 that it feels like a hard tail lol 😂
