Nice ‘46, I have a ‘46 as well. Similar setup, but sitting on a s10 frame. For the Rat Rod look, I primered the whole thing brown, then added flat black to the fenders and wet sanded through in a few areas to get the primer to show through. Came at really well and looks great with a gray cab and bed. White walls to finish off the whole thing. It’s been a great truck and love driving it everywhere.

Nice truck reminds me of my 46ton&1/2 . she was my Daley driver and work truck for about 2 years. the speedo red lined at 50mph and you could get there ,if you were headed down hill. She was all original and a blast to drive.

Nice truck and build ! Hey im building a 45 1/2 ton up , mustang ii front end , using a camaro rear end Im wandering what size wheels and tires are you running they look good ? Im planning on using something like yours like a smoothie type rim maybe 15x8 and 15x7. These stock rear fenders are narrow so nor sure yet what i'll be able to fit

Front and rear were the 15x8 rally wheels, 255 60 15s rear and I think 225 70 fronts, don't totally recall front size.
