He’s obviously an economic migrant! Anyone with connections or a bit of money in Afghanistan flees to Europe for better opportunities and life. They’re not afraid for their lives, often returning bk to Kabul for trips to show off their wealth..

Economic Migrant, you say. Do we not have an "economic war", everywhere on the planet as we speak? Just take the economic part away and you will look clearly

There country with no 2nd amendment, there country where USSR failed, where America failed and where 1 trillion dollars after 20 years failed lol...moral of the story is stop helping these western countries unless you work out a exit plan with a lawyer beforehand.

Hope that this guy is back in Afghanistan now. So sick of listening to these whinging Afghans who seem to assume the world--and German taxpayers--owe them a living. And utter bollocks about how dangerous Afghanistan is. Get these people OUT.

I think he should be given a chance by the court. He is a victim of political persecution and it looks like he seemed intent to assimilate with the German society. He is dresses up the same way as the Germans and trying very hard to learn German.

He got paid for his services, he didn’t do it for free or for a visa...he did it to better his home country...for being a traitor in the eyes of local Afghans that’s his bad for his own decisions making. Honestly his situation is sad...but Nato doesn’t promise any type of visa...translators on an international level and on a local level get paid very well and sadly a lot of them take local bribes...

Firstly he said the taliban offered him a job. He could work there. If he wants to go to Germany. He should go the legal way and if he can support himself and his family there should not be an issue. So long as there is no tax payer burden to support his family. Some advice might be to save up money then support his family with a move to Germany. NATO has no obligation to help him especially if he was already paid for his work
