Excellent Vids Gary🤘🏼... Very informative and a great resource for beginners like myself! 🍄🤘🏼🍄
Great stuff Gary love your videos
I never saw this one, awesome 😍
Thanks for the information Gary. I’m going to start my own farm looking for suggestions on what type of shrooms to grow
Thank you.
Good stuff and I trust you a lot about your production and I need to ask you if you have cordyceps militaries liquid or agar plate I didn’t see that in your page for sale if you have it I would appreciate it also I’m gonna buy some liquid for a different variety thank you
I have some ready should be adding them this weekend! MUSHLOVE
I am wondering where you are sourcing your boxes. I use to use plastic clam shells when i was at the Crescent City Farmers Market in New Orleans. I sold Oysters and Shiitake 8 oz / $6. I have moved to Tulsa OK and am just now getting back up to a production level and am looking for a new container. I really prefer paper bags, as I think the mushrooms hold up really well in them but the clamshells and what you are using offer the visual appeal. Also if you don’t mind, what are the oysters and the lions mane going for in Denver. Thank you so much, your videos are really inspirational and not the normal content. Thanks for all you do for the community. Mush Love! :)
Thank You🫀
Good afternoon, I was wondering if you had any suggestions on where to buy quality production grade liquid culture? I've checked out your Etsy page but I didn't see a lot of the strains you feature in your videos. Do you have another website you sell culture?
Where do you get your packaging from that you have in the picture from the farmers market?
🎉
where did you find your boxes?
The black king is 100% Pleurotus. it's just called black king cause of the traits of having a fat stem. it's a cross between 2 Pleurotus, no Eryngii pairing involved.
Can you help me understand how to package for say an hour or 2 of travel? I'm in Texas and don't know how to keep them freshest for longest.
in a cooler with ice packs wrapped in paper towels and store the mushrooms separately in a paper bag 👍
@@FreshfromtheFarmFungi thanks so cool dry air circulating? Like 40°? If you had the ideal packaging would a box with air holes be best? Or plastic wrapped like in the grocery store?
how big is your farm? Im in Denver as well! Sup Fam!
It is quite small but very productive we are planning our buildout soon - MUSHLOVE
@@FreshfromtheFarmFungi I would love to talk to you about it if you are interested in educating a noobie? I have built a few commercial greenhouses for cannabis and have great interest in the natural CO2 addition of a mushrooms.
Are you growing enokis, chestnuts? Maitaki? Why it why not?
Yes we grow all of them! (seasonally because of environmental factors - even though we grow indoors there are some slight variations in temperature because we pull in our fresh air from outside)
@@FreshfromtheFarmFungi are you heating your fruiting room at all? I
'm setting up my fruiting room with two separate areas, one that's warmer for reishi, LM and a warm shitaki, maybe some tubs. Then I'll have a cooler room that will draw warm air from the warm room when necessary, I'm getting co2 controllers to bring in fresh air. Warm rooms also half the size also
No bears head ?
we do that one during peak season when lions mane struggles but it’s very similar in flavor and texture to lions mane
