What kind of bow do you use, Mr. Fullana? It is very unique and beautiful with what seems to be mastodon ivory. ¡Agradezco mucho su interpretación de Kreisler!

The back of the violin is so pristine, except for the bottom.... amazing! Mr. Fullana comes from Mallorca, a paradise of an island!

As a maker that is a very good description of the difference between Guarneri and Strad.
I find very few people can appreciate a Strad model, but when they do it is absolutely exceptional.

Love that violin! So sweet and beautiful. You can really dig in, and it doesn't punch you in the face. And, such beautiful playing! Thanks and have a great rest of summer!

Lovely interview! would be interesting to know what strings are on the violin in this video - and also what gut strings he uses when he is in "period instrument" mode. Thank you.

The G, D and A look like medium Dominants (purple in pegbox, and yellow/green/blue at tailpiece end)

Apparently it is: Vision Solo+ .28 Lenzner goldbrokat and for gut - Aquila lamb gut top 2, gimped gut D from Gamut and passione G.

Thanks for your fun videos! Del Gesu made his backs thick and Strad made his backs thin, so you can push a del Gesu while you have to play a Strad more gently because it’s thinner.

A rather inarticulate explanation of why the violin bears the name “Del Gesu”.
