As a maker that is a very good description of the difference between Guarneri and Strad. I find very few people can appreciate a Strad model, but when they do it is absolutely exceptional.

Thanks for your fun videos! Del Gesu made his backs thick and Strad made his backs thin, so you can push a del Gesu while you have to play a Strad more gently because it’s thinner.
