Also, I forgot to mention for the first meal that if you're thinking of getting it for the almonds, don't. They're sliced so thin, they add zero texture or flavor. Happy holidays and happy eating! Finally, I said they had the lowest weekly meal cap I've reviewed so far but I think that was actually Green Chef. P.S. Sunbasket said they'd refund me for the unwanted box but I haven't received it yet. Will update this if I do.
You do such good, detailed reviews! That being said, I was interested in Sunbasket, but I have to say their "ready" meals do NOT look appealing. The portion also looks TINY for a dinner.
Thank you so much! I really like the meal kits, but I think the ready meals are hit or miss for all of the services that do both. I think the company I enjoyed most for both was Home Chef. I remember really liking their microwave options and the portions for them too, so maybe check out their menu.
The diabetes friendly option is a plus for me, but the price seems to be a bit more then others plans I have seen, and the smaller meal selection does not apple to me as well. Being that I am kinda picky, I won't eat mushrooms or cauliflower, and those seems to be ingredients that seem to be kinda big with meal kits so more to choose from for me is better. I might give it a try and see.

I think Sunbasket is fine, but Cook Unity might be a better option to consider because it's a bit more affordable, and there are so many options that even without a diabetes focus, you may be able to find something that will work with your health considerations just by browsing.
Horrible service. Sends you food you do not choose, when you ask for a refund because they send you food you did not select they offer you 20 dollars even though you cancelled your orders before receiving anymore shipments. Their meals for diabetics contain added sugars and too many carbs to truly be considered low carb. The American diabetes association guidelines for a low carb diet should only be considered by those with their diabetes under control, with low supervision from their doctors. Any dietary advice for a diabetic that has you going over 100gs of carbs in one day is essentially medical malpractice. Additionally even if you previously select meals that do not require prep, they will just send you whatever meals they feel like and say you selected them. Horrible service, worse than nutrisystem, essentially a scam masquerading as health food.

My favorites so far are Hello Fresh and Home Chef for sure! Trying Green Chef in Jan. so I'll see how I like that one next@@mealbeforeme

I liked Sunbasket the least of all the meal kits, IMO
