You wield the hand of god, positive vibrations echoing through the globe , great work !!!
Wow thank you! I desire to be part of His hands and feet. This world is dark and needs every bit of light possible! Thank you for watching and for the support.
Thank you! This is the most thorough explanation and practical explanation I’ve found so far!
Thank you for watching and for your support! I am glad it was helpful.
I listen to this video over and again as a beginner. 😊
Wow, thank you for sharing that. I am glad it helps!
Young Sir, I really need what you're doing. Thanks I'm glad I found your channel so when I move I can work on what you've shown me. Thanks a million, and may the peace and blessings of God forever be with you and your family. Travel Safely, Peace.
It is my pleasure! Thank you and God bless you as well!
So precisely explained! I am starting to play congas, this helped me a lot. Thank you for good job, God bless you from Poland!
1st time listening to your Pretoria on SLAP tones, very interesting, I been playing congas a while Thanks
Thank you!
Brotha!!!!! Thank you for giving the details on the open slap. This has been my careers speed bump!! Thank you!
my drum instructor slapped his congas so hard I had to blink everytime. i would literally use my fingers to try and hold my eyelids up and it didn't matter.
Some people have an incredible touch
Excellent instruction. I didn't know that congas where manipulated like that, almost like a tabla drum.
I notice that when you do the slap you are attacking the drum by changing the tilt of your hand very slightly. So when your playing with left, your hand tilts to the left.
Que buena vibra y que buena explicación, gracias!
I like the analogy of the towel whipping,
I've seen so many demos but that's a good idea of the finesse at the attack of the drum,
I'm gonna apply this idea when I go to practice,
Thanks
Cool! I am glad it was useful for you!
Blessings
Thanks so much. The different types of was demonstrated very vlear
Just subscribed yes another fan bro! Thanks for your simple demonstration and explanation of what and how the slap tones are achieved! Polishing up this technique (Moeller) technique on the conga heads! It’s almost like other conquerors don’t want to demonstrate their technique? Mucho Gracias WJ! 😊
I am glad it helps! The fine motor techniques of the slap can be a pretty difficult thing to teach. Thank you for watching, commenting and supporting.
Thx for the good vibe, great tutorial, wished you showed slowly your slap combo at the end or broke it down🙏
Great video. Really improved my slap sound by a lot! Thank you so much.
That’s awesome! My pleasure and I am glad it helped!
Very good lesson!
Nice instruction, nice technique, nice sound quality. Good work, mr. William! 🎶🎵🎶
Thank you! I hope it helps!
Great stuff mate!
Great video. Thanks for sharing this. Right now my hands are hurt because I think I've not been doing it correctly. And I have to play Bomba next Sunday and my Right thumb is hurt. Every time I do a slap that thumb hits the rim and it's hurting real bad.
Very helpful
Cool. I'm learning. All. I can. On playing congas
That’s great! Keep it up! I have a conga playlist on the channel… if there is something I missed or you have a question feel free to comment. I appreciate the feedback
Subscribed. Nice lesson
Hey buddy. I think i am "slapping" my firsts open slaps ever, following your guidelines 😅 ... it's been years trying to do that and it looks like it started working. No pain, no gain 😅
Amazing! I am glad the videos have helped you. Thank you for sharing this! Keep pushing and God bless you!
Great video Bro
So good!!!
Good lesson
Bro my slap sucks☹️
Keep at it! The slap is not an easy thing to do. Honestly, even though I can slap in several different tones, I still have to work at it… and I have been at it for many years. You got this! A little practice everyday and eventually progress will happen.
