Thats what I love about it. Their French reputation no longer apply, this gen is solid. Cheaper, lighter, more power than Fiesta ST AND CHEAPER TO INSURE! It's a no brainer. Intercooler, exhaust, remap, will take you to 230hp AT MINIMUM! Top end forged from factory, polished crank stock too, just the intercooler is junk though.
I got mine in summer 2019 for £8900 (cash, private) but great value and I absolutely love it man. Only issues have been suspension! I'm up in Scotland and I replaced my shocks twice since I had it, roads are fxxkin shite. Brill wee car, barely any of them around.

I felt the same way when I bought the 207,the car was bought 10 years ago for the Mr's,I ended up driving it more and left her with my car. After the 206 Peugeot have really stepped up.
Only people slaying these cars haven't driven them. Value for money and fun these are exceptional. I've owned the GTi Prestige 65 plate, then Audi A3 Quattro 14 plate. Now back to a GTi by Peugeot Sport 66 plate. Much less common than the fiesta ST, a very chuck-able, understated, fun car 💥
Finally I see some French beast!!! Love it 😉.. I have 308 gti only 2 weeks now.. Beast.. Light as well only 1205kg. One of the best weight ratio in its class.
LOL I used to be the biggest Peugeot hater 😂 but honestly having driven most Peugeots, the 208 and 308 GTi’s are some of the best value cars out there. Good fun from factory 💯 LLF bringin proper content for us as per usual 🔥
Most people who hate Peugeot haven't driven them. The rest have owned a lemon. I've had loads of Peugeots, only one or two of them were lemons. Nobody understands just how well Pugs respond to tuning - they must be massively de-tuned in the factory, because they go from being very slow to very fast with minimal work.
Just wanna know about the reliability issues? I am looking into getting one for myself but I have been seeing so many issues online with regards to reliability issues. How to remedy them? The one I am eyeballing is a 2013 model with under 63 500 kms on the clock

Got my 208 gti tuned by the same guys at dervtech! Great bunch of lads, great results! 1000% recommend them! Hoping to get back over to them soon get some more upgrades done! Tuning cars is so addictive 🤣
I owned the older 207 GTI making close to 260BHP with a hybrid turbo and meth. Was an epic car to drive. Sadly here in South Africa, the dealership support is horrible and parts were always an issue. Other than that, fantastic little hatches! That 208 must be insane to drive.

Took a Porker turbo to beat him. Fair play to the pug, and the driver. Difference in cost between them ain't worth it. I'd rather have the pug, which you have to drive. Not just press the accelerator like in the Porsche.
This is where weight is king. Even with the disadvantage of a manual box it still hung on and crept passed some nice motors. Props to setting this up. His new list of kills is official.

likely spent in the order £15k to do full stage 2+ forged pistons + water meth + turbo is easily £11 for a cheaper hybrid turbo. custom manifold and big turbo you can add at least an extra £1500 to that.
