Tried. What a mess getting his simpass to her bed is far hard than making Eltharion, Alith Anar a couple of bitches of the Everqueen.
The ability to have nigh-unkillable Tree Kin as a barrier between the enemy and your usual High Elf ranged power is so hysterically good.
Do you go down the Tree-kin line in her skill tree? If so have you found it useful?
@@syltis1994 Usually, though those buffs aren't super game-changing. Tree-Kin on their own are just absurdly durable vs anything that's not dedicated anti-large. They pair wonderfully with Alarielle being the best healer in the game, as well as her affinity for Sisters of Avelorn. It's also worth noting that Alrielle's "weaken as chaos gets stronger" trait also significantly buffs her tree units as her personal power weakens. Can make for some fun times when invading norsca or taking land from Morathi.
@@nerdyvids1 theoretically it's good, and if you're playing with a modded chaos or legendary chaos invasions it makes sense, but other than that, no.
The other tree is better, as you rarely need that frontline, and if you ever do, you wouldn't need to buff the frontline regardless, the damage dealers are the sisters regardless.
Being able to recruit sisters in 1 turn is game changing, plus 10 MD on sisters local forces is a LOT
@@Aurelioris Eh, I never find myself really needing 1 turn sisters vs 2. The only time that kind of situation is relevant is when you've got an army bearing down on you and you need a defense force RIGHT NOW, but keeping spare ROR around for that is better. Plus, if you're playing your cards right Sisters should never be getting into melee to begin with. Blood and Fire buffs aren't necessarily anything special either, but I think they offer a bit more pizazz than some meager diplomacy/economy buffs that wont do much in the face of HE's already absurd economy, a melee defense buff for a hyper-powerful ranged unit, and the admittedly handy ability to recruit Handmaidens anywhere in your turf.
As for the Chaos bit, that's just something she has innately, but rarely comes into play naturally. So it's fun to wrangle situations up where your tree units are angry blenders by taking already corrupted land to increase your average corruption.
On legendary difficulty, you only ever need the sisters of avelorn.
The Phoenix-King meanwhile with 3 of his consorts resting in his lap: "Hmm, I wonder what wifey is up to today? Oh well."

I am pretty sure it's not his wife but his daughter phoenix king ever queen stuff is weird usually it's just an one night stand to produce the next ever queen and then they do their own thing luckily this happens when a new phoinix is elected not when a new evergreen replaces the old one

I always find it funny that while her lore and personality stays the same in TW, the way that people play her is closer to her AoS incarnation where she's less of a rather laid back motherly protector and more of a furious ass-kicking amazon goddess.
One of the few objective upgrades that I'll concede to AoS fans

The narrative and events of AoS take place in a shattered realm of magic and divinity known as the Mortal Realms. Many of the heroes of the Old World return, several of which are now the new gods ruling over the sphere of power they were paragons of during the End Times, with Sigmar their leader. It's a pretty cool setting, but many people including myself dislike that Warhammer's world was killed off to create a bootleg Magic the Gathering wargame; along with many decisions that happened primarily during the first edition of AoS.

Morathi gaining true godhood and taking over a whole city as her new home, Slaanesh giving "birth" to two god-things because of Morathis actions, Be'Lakor almost cuting off a full realm if it wouldn't have been for Grombrindal and an ancient god-like being called Kragnos going on a rampage while the Stormcasts get their asses kicked left and right.

before I completed my DLC collection AI Avelorn was usually able to keep up with Eataine (with the help of the sword of khaine of course) to the point even with all the rituals done Avelorn would remain independent and not confederate with him, usually even confederating Nagarythe herself. Was really helpful in my Lizardman campaign to keep her on friendly enough terms not to join Tyrion in forever-war with me lol. But ever since Rakarth became a thing the Dark Elves ALWAYS win the elf-wars... I never even meet Alith Anar anymore unless I'm playing in Naggaroth

But defending Naggarond before it confederated Har Ganeth? That's pretty impressive. In my campaign Malekith and Hellebron went for the usual exile on the Dragon Isles.
in my last 4 campaigns (sisters of twilight, empire, vlad von carstein and ikit) morathi conquers all of ulthuan by turn 50, and then confederates with naggaroth proving that malekith is nothing but a simp for his mom.
Malkith for his part usually conquers the entire north, preparing it for his mother.
the only high elves who survive is usually alith anar, who hang on just barely in the straits of fear.
Yes, that's what usually happens, unless you're playing as the high elves yourself or intervene in some other way. In my campaign as the Empire I sent some money to Tyrion a couple of times and it seemed to do the trick. Well, I don't remember if he actually defeated Morathi but he drove her out of Ulthuan.
I'd love to see one for the flying bolt-thrower twins.
Sisters of Twilight came and replaced her as the best, in my opinion. Their bonuses to missile damage, reload time, and max ammo are unbelievably ridiculous. Plus ambushing, forest stalking, fire while moving 190 circular range archers are just ridiculously OP.
As fighters definitely. Bur Allariel also buffs economy and growth, so she rocks on campaign map
@@janedanchinova7072 I would agree in regards to playing your economy traditionally. However, I think of you capitalize on post loot early as possible with the added bonus of the Sister’s map movement mechanics you’ll have an edge economically over almost all other factions, even into late game when the upkeep cost buffs kick in.
Imagine not bringing 1-2 Eagleclaws with your sisters and getting them shot in sieges by towers.

When playing as Vladdy daddy Alarielle once brought me the sword of Khaine to Reikland for no reason at all, no war with me or my neighbors just a leisurely stroll...never again have I had the meta give me such an op gift. Blooddrinker is good, but muh gawd Vlad+sword of Khaine.

I have played Asur and Druchii for over 900 hours and I have never considered playing Alarielle once..

I consider it. And I didn't disappointed her geo position Is good can bumrush all the way to Nagarythe just to prevent Chrace to get the sword. I hate when I am trying to capture a province there's always a one moronic faction who decides to attack and prevent me to get the full province.
Alarielle being the strongest lord? i did not feel that then i come and destroyed all the High elfs with 1 Beastman Horde inkluding her.

so there are 3 types of elves:
high elves would stab you in the back, and the backs of every man, woman, and children in your city.
Druchii would stab you in the face, in the back, the side, basically anywhere stab-able before you die. Oh and also your wife and kids.
Wood elves would stab you from the trees
No, wood elves would stab you _with_ the trees.

Please download the better Alarielle mod. The base game render has the facial structure of a goblin, she looks ridiculous. God, I wish I could edit the tooltips too. It's "projectile", not "missile"

You can affort 1 or 2 sisters of averlorn (if u want to get a "competitive build") They get blasted into the oblivion by cheerful and cheap dogs / mortars in a blink of an eye :D
