Way different than any mower carb for sure...
use Mopar penetrating fluid to soak your jets in and spray in holes and let sit , carb cleaner and ultrasonic cleaner don't even come close to getting them as clean , it will blow your mind , trust me its a must try if working on carbs alot .

Never thought I’d be interested in ATV stuff (since I doubt I’ll be working on any), but since I’ve been learning so much about 2T and 4T carbs - seeing how they’re designed and function on different machines from various manufacturers - I’ve come to appreciate anything to do with carburetors. This one showed me some details I haven’t seen before, for sure (especially that heater!), so I’ll just file that knowledge away like all the others.
What type, make, model carb is that and what is the function of the heater?
It's a Honda ATV, so they all use Keihin carbs. Not sure the actual Keihin model though. Harleys for many years used a Keihin CV40 carb though. (Constant Velocity - 40mm). The heater is for extreme cold operation, some people use quads for hunting in the winter.
