The Cults "Electric" album is one of the best rock albums ever!! I had the album and CD and wore them both out!! Still listen to it too this day! One of the loudest bands I've ever seen!!
Great reaction. I remember when it was released, it was the first time I heard The Cult. I stood up and started to dance and jumping around. I could NOT sit still and just listen. After so many years I still have that feeling (but I've learned to sit down) I love the voice (very Jim Morison-ish (Doors) in a way imo) and the guitar as well, so unique.
Yo I love young kids /youth listening to the classic rock songs of my era! I was in my teens in the 70s and early 20s in my 80's, you guys seem to really hear so much about the music, guitars, vocals, the uniqueness of Ian's vocals made the cult have their own sound like no other band, and of course the great guitar work! But they don't make bands like this, well I'm sure they're might be a few somewhere, but most don't get played anymore on the radio. This is how real music was created back then, by real musicians who created the beats on their drums, real bass players and guitarist and vocalist who carved their own sound. I'm got goose bumps watching your reactions! My kids are all into classic rock and also the latest stuff, but the all have the appreciation of the artists back then and any artists today that creates without the use of computerized beats and autotune detune crap. You too girls give me hope that all is not lost in our youth, you will are individuals and not followers, because too may kids and the youth today fall into the peer pressure of only listening to what their friends listen to and never going outside the latest trending stuff. Saw them live back in the late 80's in Baltimore. Unforgettable show. They captured every single person in attendance for the entire show.....35 years later and still a great memory!

Yes...it absolutely is a FUN song, from an iconic band. Ian Asbury has one of the best voices out there (probably why The Doors picked him to do Jim Morrison's vocals on their reunion tour...which was easily worth the cost of tix). Cult has a great catalog of material to explore that you ladies will enjoy....keep em comin.

Of all the Reaction people, these girls are the most natural. They moved to the music. They had very natural facial expressions, eyes widening and great smiles. These girls made me feel apart of their experience to a song and Band that I've loved since the 80's. The Wolf Hunterz are cool as well.

The Cult were a beast of a band, releasing 3 awesome albums in the 80s, Love, Electric and Sonic Temple. Difficulties within the band saw them implode and disappear for a while but they resurfaced always with Billy Duffy and Ian Astbury. The still make excellent music today. To my mind Billy D is a criminally under rated guitarist. Ian Astbury one of the best rock front men also under rated.
Glad to see the younger generation appreciating one of the best Cult songs ever. I was lucky to see them when they were pushing their debut album in 1987. They toured with Billy Idol.
Glad you have been introduced to this band. I've really enjoyed them for many years. Juliet, your singing is not bad and as others have written if you enjoy doing it go for it (!) as music is about participation. I liked Mia's comment about "drowning in the music". I was lucky enough to see this band live touring for this album. They were opening for Metallica, and they did not half heart their performance like a lot of opening bands do. They honestly left the crowd screaming for more and exhausted. There are some great suggestions in the comments on other cult songs to listen to, however if you really want to see the range this band has check out brother Wolf sister Moon. I'm not sure if they put out a video for that song though.
The lead singer Ian Astbury grew up with some first Nations people & check out their videos" Native Son" " She sells Sanctuary" then theres a transition to a little more funk in "The Witch", such a shame we don't have Concert Video documentation of Ian as the Doors Y2K, with late Ray Manzerek & Robbie Krieger of the Doors,but John Densmore who contracted tendinitis wouldn't allow the touring band the use of the original name,saw them at the Pacific Colliseum,KILLER PERFORMANCE!!! Ladies... I came across your channel while I have been spending my time at home (in Khao Tao, Thailand 🇹🇭) because we are in our 4th Covid lockdown in a year and a half. Recently, I discovered the whole Japanese female metal/rock scene Lovebites, Band-Maid, Aldious, Mary's Blood...and BabyMetal I have immersed myself in reaction videos of these bands from all over the world. I have watched hundreds of reaction videos some good...some not so good...some sucked ass but I saw your reaction to Lovebites and then checked out all of your other reactions to a virtual myriad of bands, eras, genres and styles. Quite frankly, I was pretty blown away by your range. This Reaction to "Fire Woman" was great I love The Cult and have since the first time I saw them live in Chicago 1986...since I have seen them maybe 20 times or more. I am 68.5 years old and a life-long musician so my appreciation for all types of music is pretty broad and vast. I applaud what you ladies are doing, your approach and your unbridled enthusiasm. I had been playing guitar for a few years before this album came out I started with Rock 'n' Roll songs but quickly moved to heavier music (Slayer, Metallica, and so on). But after hearing this I had to get back to some Rock 'n' Roll. "Sonic Temple" is a fantastic Rock 'n" Roll Album Take the time to listen to the whole thing. By the way, if you like Ian Astbury's voice check out Danzig's "Mother" Glen Danzig's voice is a perfect mix of Jim Morrison from the "Doors" and Ian Astbury's vocals. Incidentally, The Doors tried to put something together with Ian Astbury but were stopped for legal reasons.

I love The Cult, saw them in concert in the late 80's when this music came out. Your reactions are so amazing to watch. It's like two innocent angelic beings sitting above the earth and watching the wild and crazy music this society has created and you're just smiling and enjoying it. The Cult were a beast of a band, releasing 3 awesome albums in the 80s, Love, Electric and Sonic Temple. Difficulties within the band saw them implode and disappear for a while but they resurfaced always with Billy Duffy and Ian Astbury. The still make excellent music today. To my mind Billy D is a criminally under rated guitarist. Ian Astbury one of the best rock front men also under rated.

Glad to see the younger generation appreciating one of the best Cult songs ever. I was lucky to see them when they were pushing their debut album in 1987. They toured with Billy Idol.

Saw these guys open for.Metallica on their "...and justice for all" Tour in 1989 and they just killed it👍👍

This is my second favorite song from the Cult. Loved watching Mia as she put it “zone out” while she rocked out to this jam! If you have a chance can you do a standing reaction to my all time favorite song from the Cult called “She Sells Sanctuary”. And it’s also definitely as Juliet puts it “a fun song”.

I was lucky enough to see this band live touring for this album. They were opening for Metallica, and they did not half heart their performance like a lot of opening bands do.
They honestly left the crowd screaming for more and exhausted.
There are some great suggestions in the comments on other cult songs to listen to, however if you really want to see the range this band has check out brother Wolf sister Moon. I'm not sure if they put out a video for that song though.
The lead singer Ian Astbury grew up with some first Nations people & check out their videos" Native Son" " She sells Sanctuary" then theres a transition to a little more funk in "The Witch", such a shame we don't have Concert Video documentation of Ian as the Doors Y2K, with late Ray Manzerek & Robbie Krieger of the Doors,but John Densmore who contracted tendinitis wouldn't allow the touring band the use of the original name,saw them at the Pacific Colliseum,KILLER PERFORMANCE!!! The ceiling is still singed it was so 🔥🔥🔥😅❤❤❤also check out the Doors "Awake(The Ghost Song) from the Re-Evolution video compilation, the Indian at the beginning is a Medicine Man, enjoy emenceally!!!

Ladies... I came across your channel while I have been spending my time at home (in Khao Tao, Thailand 🇹🇭) because we are in our 4th Covid lockdown in a year and a half. Recently, I discovered the whole Japanese female metal/rock scene Lovebites, Band-Maid, Aldious, Mary's Blood...and BabyMetal I have immersed myself in reaction videos of these bands from all over the world. I have watched hundreds of reaction videos some good...some not so good...some sucked ass but I saw your reaction to Lovebites and then checked out all of your other reactions to a virtual myriad of bands, eras, genres and styles. Quite frankly, I was pretty blown away by your range. This Reaction to "Fire Woman" was great I love The Cult and have since the first time I saw them live in Chicago 1986...since I have seen them maybe 20 times or more. I am 68.5 years old and a life-long musician so my appreciation for all types of music is pretty broad and vast. I applaud what you ladies are doing, your approach and your unbridled enthusiasm. You are my new fave reaction channel and I look forward to your reactions to more Japanese metal/rock. I had been playing guitar for a few years before this album came out I started with Rock 'n' Roll songs but quickly moved to heavier music (Slayer, Metallica, and so on). But after hearing this I had to get back to some Rock 'n' Roll.
"Sonic Temple" is a fantastic Rock 'n" Roll Album Take the time to listen to the whole thing.
By the way, if you like Ian Astbury's voice check out Danzig's "Mother" Glen Danzig's voice is a perfect mix of Jim Morrison from the "Doors" and Ian Astbury's vocals.
Incidentally, The Doors tried to put something together with Ian Astbury but were stopped for legal reasons.

Love Removal Machine. Those drums just slam, and the bass jamming right along. Then that guitar comes in from the background and smacks you right in the face. They also did a hell of a job remaking Wild Flower!
