    I own a Perkins Brailler, and I repair and donate them. I believe that these machines are an important tool for anyone that may benefit from it's use. everyone should have access to the tools they need to be successful in life.

      Agreed! They are incredibly important. Monopolies limit the access of people to braillers, and that’s what has occurred with perkins. They can do better, and hopefully they will.

    So, let me get this straight...there is a story about a Brailler on the internet, which, in addition to having sound, also requires sight, am I right?

      I do my best do describe what I am talking about. For this video, it was just broad strokes about major design differences that will be familiar to folks who have watched some of my earlier videos. I’m am planning on more on this perkins braille because it is more complex than any Brailler i’d previously taken apart. I’m sorry you had a bad experience. Let me know if there’s anything in particular you are wanting to know more about.
