It’s sad Samsung won’t take responsibility for this issue as it seems it is very common. My pitcher only fills up 1/8th of the way. If it turns out to be a wire harness issue that sounds like a design flaw.
i have a slightly different model (glass doors) .. easy to remove the water jug dispenser and clean out the bottom for any condensation .. not sure if it was there already due to keeping the fridge open or prior.. yet once i cleaned that area with a paper towel and the sensor as well as blew air to the sensor to dry it off... everything worked once i put it back together ... i owe ya a cold one mr. guru
I’ve had my fridge for 2 years. Same config as the video. Pitcher worked fine for 2 years and now it stopped working. Nothing is wet. No water comes out of the drain plug. I took mine apart and everything looked fine. Re-installed and it started working for 2 days. Now it stopped again. No moisture. No leak. Driving me crazy. Might just disconnect moisture sensor and see what happens.
I had the same issue, model number rf29a9671sr/aa. What I did to fix mine was add a small, stronger ring magnet on top of the pitcher lid. It seemed like the magnet in the lid had weakened and was no longer working with the resistor in the door
How does the beverage center determine if the pitcher is empty or full? The magnet in the lid is used to verify the pitcher is installed, and there is a button or perhaps pressure switch behind the pitcher.
Same issue, beautiful fridge but stoopid water pitcher fills and doesnt fill. I just removed the bottom tray and left the moisture sensor hanging freely. Too much work to take apart entire water dispenser to remove abd dry tray.
I have the same fridge and since I bought it my issue is the opposite. Pitcher works great but the dispenser on the right makes noise like it’s going to dispense but nothing comes out. I gave up but if you have any recommendations I’m all ears.
Mines is the opposite issue and can’t find help anywhere. Mine push to fill isn’t working but the pitchers fills fine. Any help would be greatly appreciative.
hey I have a question for you! I have the bespoke fridge with the family hub. I called a Samsung guy to come out being it is brand new, and they said that the issue was not fixable. I have a leak on the left side somewhere from either the water dispenser or the pitcher. There is not water anywhere near the dispenser or the pitcher, but there is water on the middle beverage door and also water that is on the side of the fridge. Sometimes I am not sure when or how exactly a large amount of water will show up under/in front of the fridge. A half to a full cup of water. Do you have any ideas? water and ice work, and the Samsung guy wasn't sure how it was leaking
I've seen similar issues like this and I've been able to fix them. I would have to look at the refrigerator and troubleshoot these newer fridges can be really tricky. I'm in Southern California. Where are you located?
Now that I'm thinking about it I think I have ran into that issue before. I would have to look at your fridge because these bespoke sometimes have different configurations if you're not in Southern California maybe I can block off some time on my route and I can do a video call with you showing me the fridge. Let me know what works out for you
@alreadyfalling ah man okay, no problem. My instagram is @ bigalsappliancerepair send me some pictures of the outside and inside of your fridge one with the doors closed one with the doors open and I'll give you my best advice.
My fridge is 7 months old and already having this issue. The service guy says he is going to have to replace the assembly. This is too common a problem and needs to be addressed by samsung. If they don't then i can easily say will never buy a samsung appliance ever again.
Best help so far! Thanks. I've also found it's helpful to dry off my pitcher all around and especially between the top of the pitcher and the cap.
Hey John thank you so much for the comment. I am glad I could help.

How were you able to identify there’s a failure in the harness? Current probe?
Any idea on this same fridge why water is leaking below the deli crisper drawers? Clogged drain line?

Been wondering the same thing… it isn’t a timer thing, obviously, because it refills from half way just fine. Almost has to be the pressure switch.
I think it maybe the light sensor on the side. I’ve been trying to figure to is out as well.

I just bought a bespoke fridge, what would you say are the most common issues of it?
Probably the ice maker and water pitcher feature everything else seems pretty solid
@@theapplianceguru is it the ice maker making too much ice?
@@333KINGPIN33 yeah
Oh deer... I hope I have not traded one set of problems for another! Thanks for the input!
@@333KINGPIN33 nah in my opinion Samsung is the best fridge you can have unfortunately nowadays it's about picking your poison
The drain sensor was full with water was my problem. I drained the water out and dried it
Mine just says autofill complete even when its empty. It will work intermittently as opposed to breaking intermittently.
This is happening to mine. You happen to be near Corona, CA? Haha

So much hot sauce 🔥
I just bought mine its NEVER filled the pitcher
That's weird it might not be hooked up to the water supply in the back. The manufacturer's warranty is one year
my water dispenser and pitcher have not seen a drop of water. Ice maker has only made about a cup of ice was installed a week ago by best buy😢
@malikam9811 installed by bestbuy huh? I'm sorry to tell you that was your first mistake. Where are you located? I can come take a look
