Do you think the ability to customize the outer panels is cool? If you liked this, you might like to see the review on the 3 door version: ruclips.net/video/fij4Ojgqhtg/видео.html
I got this refrigerator refrigerator two months ago, and so far so good. I purchased through Costco which extended the standard manufacture’s warranty to two years, and I purchased an additional three years of warranty through Costco. I was very leery of this refrigerator, but after much research, it turned out to best suit my needs. I absolutely love the beverage center, especially the pitcher ( haven’t used bottled water to fill up my jug since I’ve had this refrigerator). Speaking of water, another feature that I absolutely love, is the two types of ice. My previous refrigerator had the ice in the door, and I thought I’d miss my daily crush ice fill, but the ice bites work great. Another feature that I love about this refrigerator is the tons of space that it provides (I have the standard depth, and so there’s even more space). Really appreciated the space when I hosted Thanksgiving dinner in November. The final thing I like, is the fact that having no handles just makes for a “cleaner, and more modern, looking”. Having only had for two months, I cannot vouch for its durability, but this is why I went with Costco for this purchase as stated above.
Agreed.... Costco is a great place to purchase, also. I had all the same concerns as you. Especially since I had an icemaker problem in a older Samsung before. GO Eagles!
I got this about 3 months ago and I absolutely love it. 2 type of Ice maker and water pitcher are fantastic features. Also love the flex drawer. The first one didn't cool properly never dropped below 42 degrees, but since I bought it through Samsung, one quick chat online and they sent out a new one a week later, picked up the broken one with no issues. The replacement has been working perfect. Oh and I got the exact same colors, black with white flex drawer, good choice! If you want to store up a bunch of ice for a weekend, I use the right side to store extra. It can hold a ton to fill up ice coolers for the backyard w/o having to buy any ice.
We bought this fridge back in 2020 or 2021. I love it. It’s worked great for us. Ours doesn’t have the freezer drawer. We have two shelved freezer doors with the right side being a flex zone.
Hey Joe, just found your channel as I’m shopping for a new fridge. I’m stuck between the 3dr French refrigerator you have in your home or this newer model in the video. Our current Samsung 25 cubic feet fridge died after 16 years. We never attached the ice maker. We will be using the beverage centre on the new one though. We are a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. Price difference is around $500 Canadian between the 2. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Love your videos btw and great job on your RUclips kitchen. New sub Cheers
Thanks! Appreciate ya.... And the Red Wings. Between the 3 and 4 door, I actually prefer the 3. At the end of the day it has more space in it, all things being equal. That center drawer is nice to be able to customize, but I find that I haven't used that the way I thought I would.
Which one you find looks better and more modern between the two ? Do you find yourself missing the beverage centre hidden behind the left door on your 3 door? TIA
@rwings01 well, both my 4 and 3 door have the beverage centers. But with the 3 door, you have to access it from the inside of the door, and on the 4 door, you have an extra part on the outside the flips out so you access it from out there, and it also has a water dispenser next to the pitcher as well. That 4th door in the middle ends up costing a little bit of overall space in the fridge though. Personally, I like the 4 door more, but that on eis in my studio, so capacity isn't as big an issue out there.
I just bought this from Samsung directly in stainless steel for $1600 after taxes and discounts. It says it won't be delivered until close to January 3rd. I hope it comes before Xmas!
i got my first Samsung bespoke in aug 2022... it died december 2024. samsung tech came out said it was unfixable... the coolant line in the shell ruptured. After back and forth with Samsung they did give me store credit for 2800 to order a new one...which i did... moral of the story..dont expect these Samsung refrigerators to last long before they break down. but they did stand behind it and replaced it. but the size of these things to move in and out and having to buy a stand by fridge in the interim isnt fun
Just got one for $1388 with Bev+WiFi - should be here Friday (not the best delivery date given the fridge will be already filled with leftovers, but we'll make it work). edit: Woops, sorry, actually $1358, forgot they gave us $30 more off for Military Discount. Double checking receipt we are paying another $60 for haul away on the old one and water hookup, plus $6 for a new hose. Free delivery though.
Same.. I actually bought a second one. The 4 door is out in the RUclips studio, and I have the 3 door version inside the house. So far, I've been really happy with them.
Not sure it's a good idea to put a cover panel between your cabinets and the top of the refrigerator. While they don't produce much heat, it has to go somwehere, otherwise it will accumulate (temp increase). Worth mentionning that you need a water line for the pitcher and the ice maker. Also, no real butter drawer.
A butter drawer would have been nice. The Ikea's refrigerator cabinets have a big grill and air pass-through at the back of both of the ones above the fridge to provide circulation for that. also, the remaining cabinets hang slightly off the wall to give it a little extra space. My oven cabinet is set up the same way. Pretty neat design, actually. I was concerened about the heat, too.
You don’t have much in your fridge. Is that just for show or do you not keep condiments and dressings in the fridge? I keep a lot in my fridge but worry it may cause problems with frosting.
That one is in the recording studio, so I only keep stuff in there that I'm using for making food videos and stuff. We have a second Bespoke in the house, and I haven't seen any frost issues with it yet, and that one is pretty loaded up.
@@JoesPhenomenal I have an LG that I keep pretty full and I’ve had lots of problems with it. After the warranty went out the thing just died and I had to call out an appliance tech. I lucked out and they replaced the whole refrigeration system under a class action law suit. Then about 6 months the entire thing iced up. I’ve was coming out the ventilation holes in the back. Took me 3 hours with a hair dryer to get the back off and defrost the evaporator coils. Miserable job. I will never buy a LG refer again. When you pay $2-3k for a refrigerator you should NEVER have reliability issues, ever!
@fw1421 I agree.... Some of the weird tech features, I understand more.... But basic refrigeration problems are rediculous. I'm glad it got fixed for you though. Did you have to wait a long time for them to replace it?
Petty cool, hopefully, you don't have any problems, we all know how pathetic Samsung's service is. I'll check back in a year and see how happy you are, before I get one. :o)
The one in the house is a lot more spacious. The studio fridge is a counter depth, so there are definite sacrifices. It works out there though since most of the stuff in it is for RUclips videos. That flex drawer in the middle can be set to freeze also though, so that's something

I got side by side six months ago and am very satisfied. No problems

Soft freeze sounds perfect for slightly hardening meats for shabu shabu slicing with a meat slicer.
It's great. I buy meats from the market and use that if I don't plan on using them for a couple of days to keep nice and fresh.
