Very often, Misa steals the show on bass, but this one shows just how brilliant a lead guitarist Kanami is, as well as a genius composer. I’m 71 and totally obsessed with these unbelievably brilliant ladies since I first saw them only 3 months ago. How have I missed them? They should be world famous.
Having lived in Japan for some time, I found that the Japanese put 200% passion into everything they do. These ladies are operating at 1000% passion! 🖤🤍🖤

Now having listened to this song maybe 200 times, my favourite part is when Kanami starts to soar from about 2:05, followed by Misa's solo which is less technical than "usual" but contributes to the unexpected mood swings this surprisingly emotional instrumental has.

I'm a newbie Band-Maid fan, heard them first about 2 months ago but have since then put in at least 2 years worth of listening, studying and adoring.The first video I stumbled upon was the live version of "Hate?" and to say I was in awe is probably an understatement. I thought this had to be some kind of a "one hit wonder" and although "Hate?" live version still is somewhat a standout performance for me, I soon found out their catalogue is full of pearls and "From Now On" has probably similar effects on me as "Hate?" does. I must say that I'm totally blown away. I'm born back in the 60's and all my life I've been an avid listener of all kinds of music (country music excluded) and, furthermore, I've always been searching for new things to discover. Not since back in 1978, when I discovered Rush, have I been so pleasantly knocked out by a musical discovery.
I actually knew them before I discovered Band-Maid. I think they are an energetic and cool band, but for me, just not in same league as B-M. I like their cover of Megitsune.
One of my favorite memories from the recent tour was watching Mincho play this live. It was like watching a goddess transcend this reality into a higher plane of existence 😍

They should try making a fully instrumental album (not to disrespect the vocalist, she is an amazing singer herself). Immediately, I am suffering from maid loss from the next day. The announcement of this year's live schedule must have left the European fans feeling like they were thrown into the abyss. I hope next year will be a European tour. Since they performed so well in the US tour, it was inevitable that they would be in demand in the US, and it would be nice if Download and Wacken added them!
Are you F'ing kidding me?! Hard rock has obviously moved overseas!! I honestly can't believe what I am hearing? This is AMAZING!!! This is some incredible dedication, years of practice and the tightest playing I have heard in YEARS! If you want to tour the states again try to get your manager to get you an opening spot for Judas Priest and then just headline your next tour. America would absolutely fall in love with you all. I'm 60, I've seen them all live... JUST WOW!
They've had three of their own tours in the USA in the past three years. Including a bunch of festivals Lopalooza among them. Jimmy Page said Akane Hirose was one of the best drummers he's ever seen 6 years ago and Tony Visconti said they are one of the best live acts he's seen. People who know know.

I have tried several and they just seem to be more scream/thrash? I luv metal/deep hard rock/punk/hard soaring anthem. So far I just haven't connected with Nemophila? Everyone else says I should luv it too ;)
I saw them at a small venue in Phoenix, Arizona Oct 19th, only 500 people. You could feel the love between the band and their fans. If they ever play close to where you are DON’T MISS THEM. It was great that my daughter shared the fun with me. One of my favorite all time concert experiences.
Saw them in Philly Oct 26th … incredible!!! Been following them since Thrill and was first chance I got to see them live, and so glad I did! Great to hear you and your daughter had an awesome time! Rock on!
I was going to go when they came to seattle but i couldn't make it, it has been a big regret of 2022 for me. I want to fly to japan just to see them once they start another tour. Next year or two

聞き入ってしまった。今更ながら見た目とギャップありすぎな硬質でキレキレの演奏に引き込まれる。最初は色物だと軽く見ていてすみませんでした。

先日のガーデンシアターお給仕、アリーナの割と前列の歌波さん側にいましたが このfno 、映像では何十回も観ていたし 生でも聴いたことありましたが、歌波さんの演奏の音色と情念を近距離で浴びてしまって体内で処理しきれずに 目から汗が吹き出して気が付いたらマスクがビショビショになっていました。
BAND-MAIDのお給仕は最高にHappyです。会場の皆が家族の様になれます。そして海外ではたくさんコミュニティが出来ていて
BAND-MAIDを非常に大事にしています。
こんなBANDの存在は今まで見た事がありません。とにかく会場の雰囲気はとてもホスピタリティです。
そして不思議な事にその幸せ感はずっと続いています。
とても稀有な貴重なBANDです。
僕もこのBANDに出会えた事を幸せだと思うし、誇りに思います。

2022年のダウンロードフェスで初めてこの曲を生で見ました。
演奏する曲は全部で5.6曲しか無いのに、当時未発表だったこの曲をメタルのフェスの1曲目でいきなりぶつけてきました。
当時既にバンメの曲は大体知っているレベルではありましたが、この時の衝撃があまりにも凄くて、その後ガーデンシアターのからずっと追いかけています。新アルバムも楽しみです。

素晴らしいとか、最高とか、月並みな言葉で形だけの賛辞を述べたくない程の大きな感動をどうやって表現すれば良いか・・・言葉を選ぶのに苦労します。
それは例えれば、宝石や金銀、財宝が山のように高く積み上げられた光景を目撃するようなものかもしれません。
キラキラと輝くダイヤモンド、深海の深みを示すような黒真珠、願いをかなえる魔力を秘めた見知らぬ国の金貨、あらゆる災厄を打ち砕く強烈に光る刃を備えた宝剣・・・
まるでそれは形而上の世界であらゆる財宝の目の眩む輝きと神秘を体験するようなものでした。
26曲、2時間45分という時間が、まるで疾風が一瞬で過ぎ去るように流れ去りました。
音が空間を揺るがし、魂の苦悩までも浄化する。
そんな言葉が大袈裟に聞こえない高貴で神秘的な体験です。

一期一会の音楽会に命を懸け、戦い続ける「天才の狂気」と「戦士の覚悟」は参加者に忘れらない感動と想い出を与えてくれます。
しかし、その思いを言葉で伝える事は難しいのです。
何度聞いても素晴らしい。
宗教曲のような神々しさがある。
カナミのメイド服が修道女のように、ミサの衣装が牧師に見えてしまう。
ミクの表情は神に召される童女のよう、そしてアカネの顔が映らないのはいつもの笑顔の連打を封印するためだろう。
最初の、静寂と厳粛な導入部を突き破る瀑布のような音の嵐に圧倒される。高速の演奏を経て最後の絶頂での４人の奏者の絶妙な同時断音。行き場を失った轟音の余韻が煙のように漂う終わり方に、また圧倒される。日本的な序破急急の構成か。
この5人は出会うべくして出会った5人であって1人でも欠けたら成立しない、代わりの効かない5人、2度と現れないタイプのバンドではないかと最近しみじみ思う。
