I absolutely agree! Band-Maid is undeniably the best musical discovery I have made this year. They have replaced virtually every band I have followed as my absolute rock favorite! Love these amazingly talented ladies! Every song slays me with the energy and fun they bring. So refreshing🤘

World class! I would love it but it is a Japanese group. I love them. But even with the song 'Dragon Cry' that they sing entirely in English does not break through in America. Also, rock is less popular these days.
Jesus, what a performance, is so flawless, and outstanding, and the second voice in the guitars is so cool. This band so far I havent heard something with music so appealing, very precise, and the show performance of the all of them, they are showwomen!!! Incredible. kudos!!!!

Totally worth it. I was minorly worried that maybe they wouldn't be as good live as their CDs and videos are. What was I worried about!? Incredible! Charles Coleman I’m from Australia so I can only hope and pray they somehow or someway end up in my country. But the music scene here doesn’t really have that great of promoting so sometimes it’s difficult to get my favourite international bands in the country. But at this rate maybe I’ll fly to Japan to check them out, ive been playing them non stop all week and don’t think it’s going to stop any time soon!
@@jessbell8299 Have faith, Jess. Two years ago (2017), they played one date in the US. the next year, two dates, LA and San Fran. Last year it was five dates. 2 in NYC, one in Dallas and two in LA. Their popularity is spreading and I hope and believe they will continue to add tour dates. I do hope they pay you guys in Australia a few visits. The country that gave us AC/DC deserves it! Hey, good luck with those wild fires, too! We're keeping you guys in our prayers.

right - i see a lot of commenters say the live is much better - although i prefer live most of the time the mv for dice just has more punch to it than any live i've found. there are a couple close but no cigar

Exactly one year since I found this band. I heard this song and couldn't believe how good it was. I liked it so much that I didn't listen to any more Band-Maid for a while because I didn't want to be disappointed. I was worried they wouldn't have another song as good as this one. So instead I started watching a bunch of reaction videos of this song and reading comments. People say RUclips commenters are the worst, but RUclips Band-Maid fans are the best. Anyway, the next morning I couldn't resist anymore and decided to check out a song that had been recommended a lot in the comments; a song called "Blooming". Needless to say, the idea that "they wouldn't have any songs as good as 'Dice'" went out the window pretty fast. I started binging and in less than one day they had usurped every band I'd been listening to for 30+ years. Thank you, Band-Maid. "Our rock never dies ever! Forever!" I sure hope so.

Nowadays I have the opposite problem. Whenever I run into a new song that I really like I'm afraid to check out more from the band because if they end up being as consistently good as BAND-MAID, I don't know if I'll be able to handle it.

I'd argue this is one of the few bands I've seen where every member gets about equal praise. If anything I feel like Saiki kind of gets forgotten sometimes about by all the people losing their mind over the rhythm section.
She has a killer tone. Reminds me a bit of Duff's in the early 90s with GNR. It has a great roundness to it with both punch and clarity. And when she takes a solo, it's so well articulated.
Discovered these ladies about a week ago, and have been binging ever since. I'm officially a Maidiac! They have brought light back into my life and for that I'm forever grateful! I wish them nothing but success in the coming years!

Truly an impressive composition. It's been decades since a rock band has captured my attention this tenaciously. Most bands don't even have *one* song I can listen to on repeat without growing tired of it. With Band-Maid, it's Every. Single. Song.
That's a great question. I honestly think it hurts, at least the first few play-throughs, because I'm distracted by reading subtitles or googling a translation. It's the intriguing compositions that keep me coming back. :-)
Thrill got my attention. Dice made me go "Holy f@#k they are good!". 4 years later and they are my favorite band hands down. Im 55 and they are the only band I went to see twice. Absolute rock stars in every sense of the word. Thank you Miku for pursuing your dream.

ネットでたまたま見つけて知りました。ビジュアルはもちろんですが技量も良い！演奏と唄が互いに活かし合っている！自分のようなおじさんでも引きつけられてしまいます。もっと評価されて然るべき方達です。曲のみならず歌詞も押しつけがましくなく心情を訴えてくるし、全体的にクールさとセクシーさがほどよく融合しているように思えます。この曲だけでなく他の曲でも。

私も最初に出会った曲でした。初めは知らずに観ててイントロ格好いいなーと思って、途中まさかのかなみんちょ（名前すら知らなかった）のギターソロで思考停止、、、、。見た目フリフリな女の子がまさかあんなギターソロぶっ放すとは、、、。あの時の衝撃は未だに言葉に出来ません！しかも感動して涙ぐんでしまった。

初期の頃はまだ典型的なJpop風なサウンドだったが経験と時間を重ねて行く上でバンドとして、いや、ロックバンドとしてハッキリとした方向性が見つかった気がする、Just Bring Itのアルバムで何となく感じたが今回の新アルバムで迷いなく確信した、BAND-MAIDは本物、今後の活動が楽しみでしょうがない、メンバー同士の支えとか役割も明確みたいだし凄く良いバランスが取れている、ロックバンドなのにこんなに安定して安心出来るとかファンとして嬉しいけど贅沢だよね。密かに応援するのみだな。

right - i see a lot of commenters say the live is much better - although i prefer live most of the time the mv for dice just has more punch to it than any live i've found. there are a couple close but no cigar

Exactly one year since I found this band. I heard this song and couldn't believe how good it was. I liked it so much that I didn't listen to any more Band-Maid for a while because I didn't want to be disappointed. I was worried they wouldn't have another song as good as this one. So instead I started watching a bunch of reaction videos of this song and reading comments. People say RUclips commenters are the worst, but RUclips Band-Maid fans are the best. Anyway, the next morning I couldn't resist anymore and decided to check out a song that had been recommended a lot in the comments; a song called "Blooming". Needless to say, the idea that "they wouldn't have any songs as good as 'Dice'" went out the window pretty fast. I started binging and in less than one day they had usurped every band I'd been listening to for 30+ years. Thank you, Band-Maid.

I completely understand that. I was also afraid of finding a bad song. It’s crazy their songs are actually all good. (All their RUclips videos have a thumbs up rate higher than 98%.)

Nowadays I have the opposite problem. Whenever I run into a new song that I really like I'm afraid to check out more from the band because if they end up being as consistently good as BAND-MAID, I don't know if I'll be able to handle it.

I'd argue this is one of the few bands I've seen where every member gets about equal praise. If anything I feel like Saiki kind of gets forgotten sometimes about by all the people losing their mind over the rhythm section.
She has a killer tone. Reminds me a bit of Duff's in the early 90s with GNR. It has a great roundness to it with both punch and clarity. And when she takes a solo, it's so well articulated.
Discovered these ladies about a week ago, and have been binging ever since. I'm officially a Maidiac! They have brought light back into my life and for that I'm forever grateful! I wish them nothing but success in the coming years!

Easily one of my all time favorites from BAND-MAID. The hard driving bass and drums at the beginning are enough to cause your pulse to quicken.

Truly an impressive composition. It's been decades since a rock band has captured my attention this tenaciously. Most bands don't even have *one* song I can listen to on repeat without growing tired of it. With Band-Maid, it's Every. Single. Song.

That's a great question. I honestly think it hurts, at least the first few play-throughs, because I'm distracted by reading subtitles or googling a translation. It's the intriguing compositions that keep me coming back. :-)
