It will be a 307 due to the .040" over bore. My 351 windsor's stroke is .50" and .040" over bore for 408 cubic inches and brings a ton of torque and wild H.P. to my poor rear tires on my '68 Mustang GT.

They would then follow up with what kind of Exaust do you have..? Took me awhile to learn that some people are about the SOUND and Thats about it. I had no thought in mind for what it would SOUND like when researching the build.. I was all about the best combo. not commenting on your build just rambling,, Really like your vids. I can't wait to see this build. A high RPM windsor is going to be so bad ass! Makes me miss my old Windsor's.
That being said, after all the issue's you've had, all the work, the cost of all the machining, man hours, etc. I don't think I'd do this build myself. my opinion. A coyote swap would probably be about the same cost, all said and done, and make similar power. I hope I'm wrong, and this Winsor makes almost 600hp.
A very sick build, and a much better "cool" factor then a coyote swap for sure though.

He didn't do anything to the Lightning that can't be undone. Vehicles are expression of the owners taste wether anyone else agrees or not. I've owned quite a few classic muscle cars and not many of them remained stock. However I didn't cut up the bodies or chassis or floors or threw away any interior pieces. I built a 428cj with domed TRW pistons, high lift/long duration solid camshaft, Mallory ignition. Ran on aviation gas and drove it to work fairly often and very reliable. A long duration camshaft will not produce as much vacuum for a booster for power brakes. Hydro boost solves that problem.
