I love the alpha❤️ I saw only one in my lifetime, 50yrs, in person beside a commercial building. I wanted to buy it but didn’t act upon it. I just love the shape and lines of this particular year❤️🙂
I like the headlight covers. Love the interior. Prefer the older boat-tail. The GTA wheels don’t look right on this model. The red is obviously THE Italian color, but this shape looks better in other colors such as green.
This car’s suspension is not set up quite properly. They have fitted the tires inside the wheel wells by eye, according to what ‘looks right,’ but that has resulted in an off-level sill. The sill should be parallel to the ground, which will tuck the rear wheels well up inside the arches. That’s what Alfa intended.
It's a shame this car was spoiled...and it looked so good. Should have left it alone. None of these changes reflect its original look and would not attract an enthusiast but rather someone that knows nothing about the car nor Alfa Romeo. It's unsympathetic mods like these that devalue classic cars and ruin their look.
For God's sake, why not to keep the original interior or get a new original look alike one? This car is not exactly some kind of a beach bugg where the fantasy has no boundries and where there isn't any factory originality....
That butterscotch-colored interior is ghastly, especially the custom-made door cards. And that un-impressive looking shift knob... Congrats on ruining a decent Spider. At least those things are easily taken care of.
I tend to agree with the majority below - an Alfa Spider is more desirable with the original style interior even if its been restored. I hope they kept the original door card and seat covers as thats what most buyers will want and they will throw away the tan stuff no matter how well done it is. They have glossed over the engine/brakes/suspension i.e. all the bits that are important to an owner. I know because I have one just like that but more original thankfully - I'm the second owner and have had it for 31 years so I know a bit about them.
Absolutely right! Trying to make it look like a "baby Ferrari" is just disillusional and a disrespect to its Alfa Romeo identity. I hope you enjoy yours for years to come.
I’ve seen worse mods but not a lot. Not a fan of any of them. The headlight covers are period correct but unnecessary. The interior mods are ghastly. You can’t teach good taste. Poor Alfa.
Why can drew not accept a car for what it is, he has labeled this Alfa as a ''mini ferrari'' and he does that with so many of the cars that goes through their business. what an annoying prat!!

I own a '66 Duetto. IMHO car styling peaked in the 60's that no other era has been able to match.
