Your professional degree in anatomy serves you well as an artist! You turn a chuck of wood into a sculpture with expression!! Charles Schultz turned a line drawing into a character with emotions. ❤
Couldn’t stop seeing Boo-Boo Bear when you were carving that little bear head. Great video, entertaining as always.
Been watching your videos a lot this last week or so, and I think it's encouraged me to give this a try!
My God everyone of them is "PERFECT"...
And I mean that...
Just beautiful work once more...😊
Love your stuff... You and Chainsaw Jenna are both amazing
Aww thank you! And I love that girl, Jenna’s awesome! 😁
Love the detail especially in the eyes.
The eyes are the soul of a carving 💛
Very artistic and skillful work well done
Great job well done I like the pig lol thanks for sharing
Hahaha yes the pig was definitely fun 🐽😂 Thank you!
Taylor you’re so cute! lol my favorite is that bear head! Definitely make more of they!😍😍😍
Hehe, I will definitely be making more bear heads 😊🐻
Great video as usual!!
Thank you! 😁
Fantastic follow up to part 1 Tay! So beautifully edited, seamless, very very enjoyable! The carvings were just AMAZING as only you can do them. What a lineup all done in two days. The bears are always a TayMarie trade mark, but I must say the little girl pig may just be one of your new trade mark carvings Tay. What not to love, this vlog was excellent!!! Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💛
It was definitely a fun one to put together 😂 Thank you!
Awesome job!! The Sha boop does bring them to life it seems. You have gotten so good so quick. Love the videos
I appreciate that! And the Shaboops are my favorite part 😂 hahaha thank you!
I love that little grizzly. Can you do a step by step tutorial on how to carve him by any chance? That would be awesome. You are a fantastic carver. so realistic carvings.
Love all your little guys!! looks like you had so much fun making them. Can't wait for your next video!!
Always having fun over here 😊 Thank you so much!
Cool Videos. The heart ♥ Bear with the nice feet painting, it's my favorite.
He just went home today ❤️ Soooo cute!!!
Super awesome !!!! I love sweet pea. I need to get my over cuts in check. I can fix them on something big but small carving I cant so much
That definitely takes time, eventually you just know where the nose of your saw is and will end up!
Grande artista, gratidão por seu belíssimo trabalho!!!BRASIL!🤜🤛👊👏🤘
Great work Tay. Really enjoyed. Happy Belated Mothers Day to Nami’s Mom! 😀. Really liked all these carvings. Wish I was closer to be the drive thru shopper at your place. The bear with the heart reminded me of Yogi. Sweat Pea, kinda reminded me of a Star Wars or other sci-fi creature like baby Yoda or something. Lol. And I paused at the shed for a sneak peak, but couldn’t figure that one out. Lol. Something crawling like a turtle, armadillo, crocodile? Lol trying to be funny. Good job ! Thumbs up everyone! 👍👍👍👍
Hahaha! Omg you are so right about Sweet Pea 😂 He is a pink yoda lol!
I’m not gonna tell you what was in the shed but it’s much bigger then an armadillo 😂 That made me laugh haha! Thank you 😊
@@TayMarie23 or Piglet from Winnie the Pooh!
Speaking of Winnie the Pooh…that would be a cute carving!!!!
@@TayMarie23 I always liked Eeyor the donkey too. Don’t forget Tigger! There ya go! Winnie the Pooh character set. Lol
Hopefully someone orders that some day 😍 I have a super cute one coming up, haven’t started it yet but it’s up next after the big carving I have been working on!
Good stuff as always Jordy. My guess is 108!
I like them all, especially the pig.
Hehe the pig is definitely growing on me 😂 Thank you!
As always Just great stuff
Glad you enjoyed it 😁
Very Nice!
Thank you 😊
Looks amazing 🤩🤩🤩. Great job 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. The cardinal is beautiful. Have you done a blue hay before?
I have yet to do a Blue Jay but I definitely want to! We have a family of them that live on the property 💛
@@TayMarie23 I do as well. Gorgeous birds. You get to hear the beautiful sounds they make all day and night 😂
You do such amazing carvings. You're definitely an artist.
I greatly appreciate that, I’m starting to find my style 😊
The best pig ever!
Sweet pea came out so cute 🥰
Sometimes you have to adapt which you did well. Several years ago I watched a video where someone set up 8 to10 logs and made a single cut on each one, then made the second cut on each one and so forth. In the end he had 8 or so bears that all looked close to the same. For me, I don't have the experience to do that. If I screw up on cut two, they're all screwed up lol. Your bears aren't all the same which I like better. Each one has it's own character. In my opinion, If you have a customer looking at your bears, they're more likely to buy one if they are all a little different. Less likely if they are all identical. I think you're doing a great job, keep it up.
I definitely prefer to see each carving through from start to finish, it feels less like like a job and more like art to me!
as a carver i see on the dime tip ,it's too tight i personally run my carving bars with about the same gap of the chain hanging almost 1.5 inches below the bar.
i also have found that the electric saws aren't all that or at least to me.
you do great work, i like your videos.
2nd Life carving
I run my chain just loose enough that the bar stays cool, any looser is unnecessary and can wear and widen the track. I like my drive links to hang about a 1/4” below the bar. I check the bar with each gas up and will adjust if needed. We all have different methods to the madness 😂 I started with all electric and they work great, but I tend to always grab my gas saws. There is something special about having play in the throttle! Mostly use electric these days for when I need to be inside or when I have delicate details and want more control without any saw vibration. I think they have their place but again, I always grab my gas saws when given the choice 😉
Hell yeah 👍
Was a cute bunch 💛😁
It's a pig not a bear , so cute and sweet
Your very talented did you ever do a cut by cut on how to carve some of your awesome pieces
I don’t have any cut by cuts yet! I was planning on using this winter to hide in my shack and make lots of little tutorials and whatnot…but ended up over booking myself and had back to back orders through the whole winter. Still trying to catch up! When time allows I do hope to get some cut by cut or tutorials done 🫶🏼
I thought you were using glass eyes. Your eyes are very nicely done. Do you use any clear acrylic on them?
Usually just paint, occasionally I will put some spar urethane on them if I want additional shine to them!
As Bob Ross would say.. a happy accident with sweet pea
Hahaha there are many happy accidents while craving, they usually work out for tge best too!
like to see some tips on a owl face,,, next time you do one
Definitely can do that!
Love all your work, do you have a site to order?
I appreciate that! I can ship smaller carvings, my website is www.tmcustomcarvings.com and my FB page is TM Custom Carvings!
Yes yes yes. I love watching u figure stuff out!😆. Your like a mad scientist!! Btw did u get to see any of my latest? Sko'den, young warrior! AHO.
I saw the Native American elder face you carved! Idk if that’s what you are referring to?
@TayMarie23 yes it is its the coolest anyway. Thank u ❤️
Hello there my name is Arthur hemstreet and I was wondering if you could make a eagle 🦅 or a wolf 🐺 or a owl 🦉 and how much do you charge for the carvings
Jucivan de Souza Silva Júnior 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🦅🦅❤️😍👍👍😍😍🥰
Awesome! Where are you located? I'm in Ohio. Love to carve a collaboration piece if you're interested.
I just checked out your channel, I have definitely seen your work! You got some crazy talent man! I saw you had a video on the rendezvous, I was there too, also as a visitor! I will definitely be carving there next year too! We drove all the way from Maine!
If I was closer I would love to do a collaboration, but you are definitely 14+ hours from me 🙃
@@TayMarie23 Thank you Dear. You're crazy talented yourself! See you at the Rendezvous next year! Hopefully well both be carving! Keep up the amazing work carver!
Thanks man! And absolutely, can’t wait to carve there next year and hang out with everyone! Like you said in your video - it’s like a second family 💛
👍🇺🇦
My first bear looks much like your piggy
My first bear was something special 😂 I can’t believe I actually sold it haha!
i watched your first video (carving) again today and yes it was fantastic@@TayMarie23
I was poking fun at my first one, the black bear in that first carving video, it was rough 😂
okay cute in a rough sort of way!@@TayMarie23
how much do they cost 11:47
Most my of my sitting bears of that size go for 275+/- depending on exact size and level of detail desired :)
