nick degraeve that's a pretty badass tuning lol. metaphorically and tuning wise. might have to try to tune one of my basses like that see what the outcome is.

I love this album. I was so lost when I was a teenager. And I remember when I got really depressed I would play this album, and I felt like I was understood somehow😊
"Some feel I kill for fun.I kill for life!I cant escape what gaias left for me.I cant deny the lack of morality!" One of the heaviest moments in metal history.
I get where you're coming from! It's the guitar that does it for me though. I think the guitarists name on this album is Josh or something. If you want to know more on this album then go onto MFKR1.com
hey bitches.. slipknot is slipknot. doesnt matter what members are in it. it will forever remain a holy name and it will always be of godlike status no matter what! and no old slipknot isnt any better than new. who gives a shit??? its still slipknot. they havent lost their roots at all. they grown from their beginnings into somthing amazing.
It's actually not a demo but rather a full album you can find interviews with Anders Colsefney the original singer in which he states that himself. Corey and the boys have basically stolen/ rearranged some pieces and lyrics around to create every album since their debut. Iowa especially
corey is part of the reason why joey &chris aren't in Slipknot nemore. most of the self titled songs r the older songs just covers or slightly rewritten. Slipknot started to become a cover band when they brought in corey, but because the members stuck it was able to evolve into what it is now, a former shadow of something unique.
notice how Slipknot didnt become soooo popular among the public till Corey came to replace Anders..kind of like the early days of Linkin Park. No one knew who they were till Chester Bennington replaced Mark Wakefield. Corey made Slipknot so much better!
@@slipknotmfkrlocust8843 Why are you denying it so adamantly? It definitely has some Pantera-ish elements, like the guitar tones, having parts where only bass and drums are playing, even Anders' voice kinda resembles Phil's. Whether all this was intentional or not, only the band knows.
Everyone thinks there so tuff that they cant listen to anything to vol 3 or Ahig. All albums are awesome. This singer sucks in my opinion but i do love the orginal work on this. Its like if a song has melody the "tuff" medal heads hate it. The fact they can branch out shows how awesome they are.
Slipknot died when Paul died than the firing of Joey and now The death of Joey Slipknot is officially dead they will never be the same. 2 great founding members gone to soon!
@@jacksonwilliams3756 you must be fun at parties, I'm sure they knew it was unofficial. never have I ever seen a legit copy of this for sale in person (hell, I've barely seen real ones going on ebay and such places)
@fondlist well i dont think it doesnt take a major back seat, as most slipknot riffs are basslines with guitars imitating. but i can see how it apears he takes a backseat. then again, i personally think slipknot would sound strange with bass solos and such, as it would make the songs TOO bass(not instrument) heavy, with all the percussion too. i love songs like gently (IOWA) as the bass is in control, even though its not technical.
@fondlist i dunno, he may not play as crazy stuff but on Slipknot the entire sound is based around him, with hardly any lead guitar. itas all about hte bass!
I love the way Paul had his tuning at D-E-A-D in this song, it sounds fucking amazing no matter what he did
nick degraeve that's a pretty badass tuning lol. metaphorically and tuning wise. might have to try to tune one of my basses like that see what the outcome is.
im new to bass. how can you tell its DEAD tuning ?
oh??? holy shit lol
You're just making stuff up for the sake of sounding cool
Bruh his bass is tuned to drop c or drop b

I love how Paul's bass sounds in M.F.K.R !
R.I.P Paul Gray !!
He will be deeply missed he was a fucking legend bro \M/
And now RIP Joey. Best drummer in the world
Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat = Fantastic album
Hell yeah
I don't really like Anders voice but other than that it is good
1:59 to 2:09 back vocals of Josh were awesome!
Adam Basa 01:59
Yes I love it kinda reminds me of ride the lighning metallica
My favorite slipknot song
2:59 They don't know I'm a turtle
@HypnotiX Sounds yep. It's in the Constitution. Also in the Bible.
@SleepyclaN Zz is liberate my madness
@SleepyclaN Zz if it looks like it says bananas but it's madness!
@SleepyclaN Zz Sounded more like do you like bananas
This is my favorite slipknot album its so raw, almost death metal.
preciesly this song parece que lo make Schuldiner
donnie steele is my guitar teacher. he's awesome at guitar, probably the best i've seen
breaking the law breaking the law
one of the favourite! drums awesome
As a kid i always thought he said ARMY TURTLE
can't unhear it now lol!
I love this album. I was so lost when I was a teenager. And I remember when I got really depressed I would play this album, and I felt like I was understood somehow😊
They should reuse this riff on their new album
leandro_FC_ not really. if you had a good rifft from a old song i wouldn't let it go to waste.
leandro_FC_ you know most bands reuse shit you fucking idiot?
Absolutely agree \M/
The guitar tones on this album seem a lot heavier than on any of their other releases.
yep
Caleb Bliss Wherein lies continue has the heaviest tone. Period
in this song they were using a tuning that was half a step up until they're 1999 album and that's when they started using Drop B tuning
@@befrnigel no no, he’s right..this is REAL Slipknot. All the emotions and feelings of rage and hate were strummed into those guitars 🎸
@Vincent how can I assist you ?
Paul Gray, Anders Colsefni and Joey Jordison in fvcking veins!!!
The sound splendid!
"Some feel I kill for fun.I kill for life!I cant escape what gaias left for me.I cant deny the lack of morality!" One of the heaviest moments in metal history.
I was 15 and at Little Lever High School near Manchester when this album was released. Now I'm 38 and still very much a Maggot.
What I would give for an official remaster
I'd give a left nut for a remaster or a Anders collab on the next album
And plus they stopped pressing MFKR around 97 or 2000
With the orignal members like Paul and joey if only
that feel
Definitely a great album. Only just found this on here. A bit late I know... Maggot for life
Me too man. It’s ok tho, new to us lol
Your never too late lolll! Mfkr is eternal!!!
Am i the only one here, who thinks that this song sounds like Pantera?
I get where you're coming from! It's the guitar that does it for me though. I think the guitarists name on this album is Josh or something. If you want to know more on this album then go onto MFKR1.com
AlienCannibalSexOrgy The guitar tone is very similar to that of Pantera. The spoken vocals are also similar to Phil Anselmo's.
I agree dude, I guess they were inspired by pantera at the start
I agree.
MC Crit pantera and sepultura
MFKR is an epic album, Slipknot are amazing, RIP Paul Gray, I pray tributes to you
i forgot this album was considered death metal / alt metal
holy shit thats huge amount! i so want this album
Slipknot!!!! 1995-1997!
Anders is God!

To me, I think this is the best song from this album
Btw, as a prog fan, I think Slipknot did a good job doing a prog metal album
This is my favourite song on MFKR with gently as a close second
Leights 180 same for sure
Gently and Do Nothing/Bitchslap with Some Feel close third.
For me, it's Slipknot and Do Nothing/Bitchslap tbh
0:54 PAUL IS AWESOME!!!
Probably my favorite song off this demo album. It’s a shame the whole record isn’t available on Spotify.
Saw your comment just before opening spotify I am heartbroken haha
It's actually not a demo but rather a full album you can find interviews with Anders Colsefney the original singer in which he states that himself. Corey and the boys have basically stolen/ rearranged some pieces and lyrics around to create every album since their debut. Iowa especially
I love the new and old slipknot
This just sounds more like a slipknot than it is now imo
you can tell paul loved doing the bass for this album its fucking sic!
I agree with you there,brother.
00:27 to 00:53 is a straight up death riff 😅
Corey's voices is exactly what slipknot needs. I never liked slipknot until corey came in.
True.
corey is part of the reason why joey &chris aren't in Slipknot nemore. most of the self titled songs r the older songs just covers or slightly rewritten. Slipknot started to become a cover band when they brought in corey, but because the members stuck it was able to evolve into what it is now, a former shadow of something unique.
Corey did nothing but water the band down
ETERNAL!!!!!
I'm on an old school binge. Haven't actually heard every song of this album. This is easily my fav. Anders sounds great.
The bass is just fucking awesome!!!!!!
RIP joey and paul
I agree so much with you!!
nice
he is really good, he blows mich away!
Acredito que se o Anders continuasse teríamos mais músicas como "Some Feel" e "Confessions".
1 year ago a started with psychosocial, duality, and the dying song
now here i am
Slipknot é muito foda! E o álbum é um dos melhores. Maggot Forever!
this is the real deal

Yessssss and Bowser gave Peach "Some Feel".
Dat Feel
that's one prelly space, i love it
for some reason at the beginning it reminds me of Primus
They need to release this with new version .
Slipknot will always be my favorite band shout out from the 813 Tampa Bay Flo Rida \M/
Song name is "Some" by Steve Lacy.
woah :DDDD
00:54 DAMN awesome
Me recuerda a disturbed, incubus con toque de sepultura
1:59 anders sounds a lot like kirk windstein
I thought the exact same thing when I heard it!
BEST SLIPKNOT ALBUM \\m//
Hell yeah
they don't know, I'M A TURTLE!

Yeah this sounds like some pantera tbh
no it does not

Mike Redfield my favorites are danger keep away and circle which are their softest songs. Truly beautiful and inspirational
Exactly
i like the little jam joey and paul have
A few ppl know this song... i asked my self why? Come on guys, they must start somewhere, like other band`s ;-)
paul grey
2:17 why does it turn into fur?
that song hadn't been heard by most people until those recent leaks.. and I think Fur (Covered in Blood) is a *hella* early take on this song
U can find a lot of slipknot songs on Slipknot metal . com ...u can find all the MFKR songs there...
Slipknot died when Paul died than the firing of Joey and now The death of Joey Slipknot is officially dead they will never be the same. 2 great founding members gone to soon!
its sad but true. slipknot are dead
So they died twice? Huh, kinda ruins the permanence of the whole "Slipknot is dead" thing huh? Starting to sound like they have plenty of lives to go.
I bought this on LP 10 yrs ago =d
Then it was unofficial, because this album was only officially released by the band on CD, and there are only a thousand copies of it around.

SOME FEEL, SOME FEEL..
@AeonDNBnoeA I like Wherein Lies Continue, Butcher's Hook, and Gehenna only..
@hullett29 ok i thought you meant only those songs out of all of them
Compare this to Pantera's "The Badge..." the voice and quality of both are pretty similar
2:41 sounds familiar from another slipknot song, or i'm wrong? idk but sound fuckin awesome
+orbulescu sebastian Diluted?
THE BLISTER EXISTS
@limitlesspower87 for some reason corey changed his vocal style during vol. 3.
