Oh I think when you start entering a certain era you notice that the doctors are getting younger, gone are the old men who actually had the patience to sit down and listen to you. A lot of these younger doctors are in a huge hurry and they only spend a few minutes with you and barely look up or make eye contact. And then I get a $350 bill and I wasn’t even there for three minutes.. you are just a number in the waiting room to them.

Strange isn’t it? They do tell you about your first period and if you are unlucky they will tell you that you should just live with the symptoms. And than…nothing!
But there are good books nowadays which tell you everything about your cycle and the influence of hormones. Believe me…those freaking things have influence on your whole wellbeing.
There is treatment by the way. Doctors in the UK found out that every woman has her own balance of hormones. That’s why the standard OAC can give a lot of problems and side effects. These doctors treat women in the UK and are very successful with it. According to the women who took the treatment.

The worst symptom I had was the most excruciating Charlie horses. I could tell it was coming on because there would be a tightening around my knee caps. But the worst was the Charlie horses in the groin area. These literally made me cry because of the pain. I would be bent over and would have to walk them out. And once I had this happen on both sides of my groin. I never experienced hot flashes (thank God) and did gain weight. Mood swings were the same as when I was pre-minstrel. When we are young women we look forward to our menses' stopping, and then we have to deal with menopause when we are older......it just isn't right that we should have to suffer like this!

The experts got close to mention some of the symptoms but left out very important details & brushed off what they did mention with what they claim are simple solutions to "fixing" those issues. The reality is far worse in some women & absolutely devasting. Once some of the serious, life changing symptoms occur there is nothing that can fix it, at best minor relief which is only temporary. Unless I missed it they never mentioned HRT. It is so, so important that women get their hormone levels checked & take HRT. If they've had hysterectomies which removed 1 get your levels checked yearly,if not 6 monthly. If both were removed, do not stop HRT, even if you think you will be passed the menopause phase - which is where I went wrong. No one ever warned me, not even the specialist, that what has occurred could ever happen. I became suicidal because I couldnt cope with being in pain, discomfort 24hours a day. It hurts to walk, it hurts to sit, it hurts sleeping, it hurts when even the softest fabrics touch, there is no way to feel comfortable.

Sugar and liquor causes hot flashes, avoid both at night. Separate beds and a remote control ceiling fan are recommended. No more than 2 meals a day, intermittent fasting helps a lot.
