Great instruction.I got ahead of myself and ordered the sport version, which is not what I wanted. LasFIt was great, they exchanged them out for me and I paid the difference. Great customer service, by the way. I ordered all the wiring and butt connectors as you advised. Now all I have to do is try to duplicate what you did. Im not a wiring guy but your instruction has given me the confidence to try. Thanks a lot.
Nice video. Another good option between the mounting brackets and frame is some thin rubber padding. No worry about retaining moisture. I have a magnum so I'm gonna use the spare button blank in on the control pad for my on/off switch. Thanks for the great vid.
Hey Justin!…I’m sorry man, I’ve had that video on my computer forever now, I’ll have to get it edited and posted for the channel…I would definitely recommend it though!
Get power at ignition switch, that way when you power off mower the lights go out if they were accidentally left on or my experience the cat steps on light switch in middle of night
Thanks man, I appreciate that!… Not yet but stay tuned… I want to finish my video on my switch panel first, then I'll be posting a video on the ditch lights… Thanks for watching!
I was wondering why you put the negative wire on the switch. Is it a lit switch where it needs + and - to be connected to light it up. Just curious. I was really expecting you to say normally open NO and normally closed NC on the switch. Let me know. Thanks, Jim
Hey Jim!… Yes sir, the switch does have a back light on it so that’s how it calls for the wiring to be connected… Hope that helps, thanks for watching!
I’m actually editing a follow up video right now, it should be posted on the channel in the next couple days!… I show how they are holding up after about 26,000 miles, I love em!
Yep, they perform much better than I ever expected!…just make sure to rotate on schedule and watch your alignment of course…you’ll see why in my follow up video, I got lazy and paid the price 🤣
Awesome i also have a 2021 mav, and I just installed a rough country light bar on my rops bar super bright!! Now i dont have to worry about running out of day light mowing…night shifter problems lol. I used a rocker switch for mine an it fits perfectly in the stock cutout for the electric deck lift switch. I seen u have that option so the lil spot u put your toggle switch in work perfect too. Ik they ride like a dream with or without a air ride seat but for your next upgrade id suggest the air ride its on a new level of comfort man! If u haven’t done your first transaxle fluid change let me know and i can give u some info on how to do the new mavs with the internal expansion tanks they are alil different from last year’s models with external tanks. I had to figured out they are no vids on how to change the fluid on youtube yet so i had to go by the manual and no body likes doing that lol. Maybe you can do some service videos on it since nobody has any of the 2021 maverick.
Thanks Brad!!…I’ll have to look into that air ride seat, I checked it out when I was comparing models but wasn’t sure if it was worth the money… If this thing gets any more comfortable I’m selling my recliner and I’ll watch my games in the bad boy 🤣… yeah if you don’t mind giving me some pointers there I would appreciate it, I can definitely make some videos on it but I would be doing the same thing as you since I’ve never owned one of these before… i’d have to buy the manual as well… thanks in advance man, I appreciate it!
@@NitroZ18Fishing yea they are for sure worth the money lol an yea its like mowing on clouds for sure.. and for the hydros you will need to jack up the rear end until the tires are off of the ground make sure the hydros are cooled off completely…then they are a fill port plug on top of the hydros then another indicator port plug on the side kind of at the top to show you when its full you will need to remove both port plugs…they dont have drain plugs so you have to drain the oil from the filters and it does take a while for it to drain completely..they have guard covers on the filters i think they are 10mm bolts that hold them on..remove them and the filters, wipe down the filter surface on the hydros after draining the hydros removing any debris. Then lube the o ring seals on the filters and replace the filters. After replacing filters fill the hydros by the top fill port until fluid starts runs out of the side indicator port indicating they are full. Install both of the port plugs and put the axles in neutral by Disengaging the drive rods to the axles by pulling them back all the way and putting the pin in. Start the mower and while its on jack stands with the wheels off the ground, you will need to do the purging process. All you have to do is push the sticks fully forward an hold for a few seconds then pull back to full reverse an hold for a few seconds, you will want the mower at full speed when u do this.. you will need to do that about 20-30 times then turn the mower off. Let the hydros cool completely off before topping them off again…after cooled and topped off, put the hydros back into drive by pushing the axle disengage rods forward and putting in the pins and Then repeat the same purging process but with it in drive. Top it them off once more after they cooled down completely filling them while still warm you can damage seals in the hydros from over filling them because the hydraulic fluid expands when its warm an the expansion tanks are inside the hydros on this year models. Then Replace the plugs an you should be ready to drop it off the jack stands an let er roll…After i mowed my yard once after changing the fluid I took the plugs out once more after it cooled just to checked make sure they was still full because the point of purging them is to get all of the air out of the system. Its not a hard process its just very time consuming waiting for them to cool off and everything.
@@NitroZ18Fishing also on the fill port on the top they are a vent valve that looks like a castle nut right beside the port plug make sure you don’t confuse that with the plug because you can damage it. The fill plug just looks like a regular silver bolt an so does the side indicator port plug. Also if you drain the oil and its grey in one or both of the hydros and not honey colored like they should be, they have gotten water in them through the vent valve on top. I didn’t know this but you’re not supposed to use a pressure washer on them because it can push water into the system. One of my hydros fluid was dark grey when I drained it and i found out that was why. If you run into any problems or have any questions just let me know an ill do my best to help u from my mistakes lol good luck.
Ok awesome, thanks so much for the help!… I’ll try to throw a video together when I change it, thanks for taking the time to explain all of that!… I feel like I’m going to have to send you a commission on the video! 🤣🤣
@@NitroZ18Fishing no problem buddy, wish I had knew someone that done it instead if me going into it blind lol…at least you’ll have some insight on what to do from someone thats done it..before you do it yourself now lol…First oil change is @ 8 hours and first hydro oil an filter change is @ 50 hours. Then the hydro oil needs changed every 250 hours an the engine oil every 50 or annually.

Post that video on the ACS system. I am considering buying one but would love to see your review

If only there was a place one could mount flood lights on a Maverick above their head to illuminate a nice sized area.
Get power at ignition switch, that way when you power off mower the lights go out if they were accidentally left on or my experience the cat steps on light switch in middle of night
Nice Job! lights look great 👍🏻
Thank you!!
Do you have a video on the install of your pod lights on the pro? Love your videos btw! Thanks!

awesome video, gave me some food for thought vs buying the stock lighting on my zero turn which is way overpriced!
Do the lights get in the way of stepping in or out?

Hi I was kinda here for this
Do they have them in amber?
Yepper, sure do!
How are your Kenda RTs holding up just bought a set

better than that overpriced crap badboy sells for their mowers. This is the same thing I did.
Agreed, way overpriced!
Do the bad boy LEDs not work, or is that just an opinion not based in any fact?
