I hike this every weekend..there are parts to this park that are located in markers like lot 28 and 27..edit..I have found a small bird etched in the stone off the path on a cave wall seems very old not a tagger vandalism job either
@@Quantrills.Raiders it's the main trail by the river ..there a few cut offs to the right where you climb a sandy hill and it's up at this point ..you will need to search a little
@@Quantrills.Raiders I wish I could show you on a map but it takes a little foot work but I swear it's there man and starved rock was a large native compound so I think there is more there off the foot paths but they arrest folks now for that

I have been to Starved Rock and couldn't help but notice the many bullet holes in the Rock on the way up the Stairway on either side. Let me help dispell the myth of Native Americans Shooting at the Rock and cutting off lines with buckets for water and Staying Long Enough to actually Starve other Native Americans out, which could take quite a while. I suggest the Ottowa did not waste bullets, as these were costly in that day. I also know of State Militias, of white/american volunteers, that went out on occasions and sought Native American Tribes or small groups to kill them, and I also know Abraham Lincoln was also killing Native Americans around 1832 in the Blackhawk War as a captain for a volunteer to kill "Indians aka Savages, militia, in an attempt to exterminate them, like you would so many insects and rodents etc.., in a Mass Campaign of GENOCIDE...SHAME SHAME SHAME... I don't for one second, believe the audacious story told here by the (aka uncivilized liars). This is a created version of history, to custom fit our politically correct environment, yet living off stolen land, lying story people...In those days the only God Indian was a dead Indian and the more you kill today means the less you will have to kill tomorrow...
