I'm not sure I remember how you had the station before, were the platforms just open to the elements, or did you extend them to make room for the trainshed? The platforms were laid in quite early on with the railway build and I enlarged a picture from an S&D book of the station front which straddled the platforms in the right position and at least looked ok, from a a distance but had been there for more than10 years and its replacement was more than overdue!
@@bathgreenpark2485 Hi, yes I remember seeing the picture of the roof arch in, well many of your videos, I just thought it was pasted on the back scene or wall. It never occurred to me you had it straddling the lines in the right place. That explains it then. Thank you. All the best Dave.
Up the Manchester end quite possible. As far as I know only the Peak diesels got into Bath on the Pines. In 1962 you could catch the Pines out of Manchester and be hauled by electirc, diesel and steam. Now that must have been a journey worth making.

I'm about to commit heresy. Pines express hauled by a green EE type 4 (Class 40)
