I'm glad, that you showed the failed egg, as well!! It shows that cooking doesn't always have to go perfectly on the first try :)

Non stick spray along with the oil goes a long way to prevent the fail. But good try.

I actually realised most Japanese moms don't over react to their children falls or when they hit onto sth. My mom always says " Not the fall/hit that they cried, but the screams of parents that frighten them." I see most Japanese moms don't react a lot when they got into minor accidents instead they act in a way that soothes the situation. In the country whr I live in all the moms would scream over children tripping over onto the floor. I facepalm really hard whenever I see that kind of scene... xD

I don't have the time to take cooking lessons (because I also have work) but I'm trying my best to learn how to cook delicious meals for my husband. There are a lot of days when my cooking is at its worst, but still I always pour a lot of love for my husband into my cooking. You are beautiful and amazing, a reminder that wives have to look after themselves, too while taking care of their families. Cheers to all amazing wives like you!

When I cook rice on the stone pot, I like to cook a little longer. The burnt rice at the bottom tastes good.

Ichigo, is the Protagonist in the anime 'Bleach'. His character is quite manly but I never knew his name means Strawberry. 😂😂😂

I am Japanese. I do not understand English. It is a translation.
      sorry.
The names of the ichigo brothers and sisters in "Bleach" all overlap with the fruit name in Japanese.
"ichigo" is strawberry. "karin" is chinese quince. "yuzu" is citrus junos fruit.
But the true meaning is "ichi" is "one", and "go" is "protection" or "amulet".
The name is meant to be something that can protect one thing.

kuma Wow its Just like Dragon Ball all character's name are similar to food or daily usage items. Like Gohan means breakfast, vegeta is similar to vegetable, broly is similar to broccoli isn't it?

      Thanks for the reply.
This is also an automatic translation.
By the way, in Japanese, Saiyan is 'SA-I-YA-JIN'.
'JIN' is a race. For example, in Japanese, Japan is 'NI-HO-N' or 'NIPPON'. So, the Japanese say 'NI-HO-N-JIN' or 'NIPPON-JIN'.
If you rearrange the letters of 'SA-I-YA', it's 'YA-SA-I'.
      'YA-SA-I' means vegetables in Japanese.
I am very happy to let people know about Japan through Kimono Mom and Japanese anime.

I made the Teriyaki sauce with some Katsuo / Kombu Dashi, but also no Sake, like you do (because I don't have Sake lol (yet!!)).
It was amazingly tasty! I never even had Yakitori Donburi before! Thank you so much! Learned it all from you!
