  • This is an unboxing of a $35 Phantom Spirit 120 SE CPU cooler. Which is very good, according to online tests, and it acn handle up to 280W CPUs, which at the moment is every CPU on the market. Not only that it performs well on both Intel and AMD sockets, unlike some other more expensive cooler, like the Be Quiet Dark Rock 5 and Dark Rock Elite - among others.
DISCLAIMER: The CPU cooler that I bought was from a 3rd party on Amazon, not directly from Thermalright, like the links I include.

It was used. It was also missing thermal paste, and the bottom plate had some holes in it. But the seller was a 3rd party on Amazon, so it's not Thermalright's fault.

no way, those few scratches will cause your CPU to overheat. Its more important that the surface is not warped / bent.

That's right, I got a used one. The cooler also had 2 small holes on the cold plate which I have never seen. I have to point out though this came from a 3rd party seller.
