Pete Rose replacing Jimmy the Greek…. Can’t make it up lol! Great work as always, Meda Dugout!
I do my best to find the wonderful musings burried in these gems. Each one has something with a twist somewhere in it.
I almost fell off of my chair when Pete came on for Jimmy.
I said the exact same thing btk6298!
LOL….😂😂😂😂😂😂
I mean. You can't spell gambling without Pete Rose
(I know you can't spell gambling with the letters in Pete Rose's name)
Jayne Kennedy, absolutely stunning!!! Smokeshow!!!!!
Holy shit, Jane Kennedy.
Ah Jayne Kennedy is a dream😮❤❤
Jayne Kennedy was/is class and beauty personified. This brought back memories from my teens. Thx.👍
I was only 9 at the time, but I had a massive crush on Jayne Kennedy! She was beautiful and knew her stuff, hearing the music and seeing her brought back good memories.
Bruce Jenner..Olympic champion in the decathlon. Whatever happened to that guy?
😮 stockton right on the future of larry bird greatness at about 11 minutes
8:42:05 A very rare roughing the passer call. LOL @ the announcer who says it was a “very close call” even though it’s clear the def player punched the QB right in the mouth. He’d be ejected today & have to face a social media onslaught.
“Is Larry Bird going to be that good?” 10:24 😎
The veterans who sacrifice for today players were just incredible to watch.
Another classic set of games! Thank you!
Love this "retro RedZone" channel! Please keep them coming!
Man do I miss Curt Gowdy, one of the greatest of all time!!
Pete handled himself pretty well! LOL! The irony!
Wow. I’ve been collecting Patriots games for a long time. I’ve never seen the Lions game from 1979. How do you do it? Thanks for sharing!
Been doing this a long time. I leave no stone unturned.
Jimmy the Greek gets in a motorbike accident In Hawaii. What are the odds. Want to take a shot Pete?
50:00: R.I.P. Roman Gabriel.
Bring back the Helmet Cars
Got to ride in one as a kid. Always wondered where they ended up.
Payton manning did a history of the helmet cars on payton's places episode once
@@Pepprjack1 I see 4 seasons of the show on Hulu which one ? Season 1 had 30 episodes
@@mediadugout2684 really which helmet
@p44r I don't remember which episode but I know. The thumbnail had the two helmet cars in it. I want 2 say season 1 or 2
Jayne Kennedy old my God.
Love Jayne Kennedy
This is like an old school RED ZONE 😂
Love those pennants on the wall NE vs Det
1:12:02 Gang Tackle's , 1:12:51 Blindside Hit, 6:26:36 Hard Hit!
Pete Rose filling in for a degenerate gambler. Hmmm…. We weren’t paying attention I guess. But thank you for this excellent clip!
Who knew?
I thought it was pretty evident. How about the old Wheaties commercials "Your ready for Wheaties...you know your a man!" And their spokesperson blew that out of the water. 🙈
Lol you got that right! What a world we now have to endure. I think about my grandchildren having to navigate this nonsense.
Btw, Mr. Jenner and his clan should read Deuteronomy 22:5 for some clarity...
Good one
RIP Russ "All World" Francis.
Watching NFC Central games is like watching the Big 10 West. Borrrrrrring.
19:50 ... Rose knew all those NFL teams which was a much needed prerequisite to be a gambler..
He picked the Bears and they won 7-0
Thank you so much, I miss all of them
i don't know why Seahawks-49ers have to play 2PM PT for some NBC Local Stations lol
Back then, games started at different times... I can remember Bears games or Packers games that started at 1:00 central or 2:00 central. Obviously, today they can start only at Noon or 3:25.
Baseball playoffs. @@soxpacker
I guess it had something to do with the MLB Playoffs. Plus, Seahawks/49ers was going to be televised exclusively to select west coast markets, so starting at 2PM PDT wasn't that big a deal.
When did the games go from starting at 330 to 4pm?... didn't remember the 330 start time
Pregame
Pete rose pick in games
Greek
Good ol' Brent Muffburger!
Or as LA radio sports personality , Jim Healy called him "Burnt Hamburger"
Why do they not allow 2 running backs in the backfield any longer?
They used to be called fullbacks so what happened.
Look at the videos of football games from years ago there
were always 2 running backs in the backfield but no more, WHY?
The game has turned into a pass first game. What’s even funnier, is a 44 yard field goal being called long, then coming up short.😂
@@samzach2057 There was passing years ago also. I am tired of hearing that nonsense for the reason why 2 running backs are NOT allowed in the backfield any longer. When a team is winning by 30 points there are still NOT 2 running backs in the backfield, explain why.
Because these new coaches think they're "intellectuals" and too smart for basic football fundamentals. It's what plagues our society at large.
Good nostalgia! I've been watching since the 70s, and I couldn't tell you why Boomers pine for these days. Sloppy and slow, with turnovers galore and atrocious quarterback play.
I'm a Gen X and prefer this. Today's football is boring in my opinion. Bunch of passes and guys who can't tackle. I turn today's games off half the time and I used to watch all three games and Monday night like clockwork every single week for most of my young man years. No more. Snooze fests of bad football fundamentals to me.
Pete Rose subbing for Jimmy the Greek is cringe worthy in retrospect
Of all the people to have sit in for The Greek??? They chose Pete. 🙈
