Thank you so much for this. It seems like yesterday. I was 17, senior year of high school in Connecticut. Patriots fan. Oh, to be 17 again …

    I'm loving this big time.
Seeing the NFL Today with Pete Rose make picks.
Earl Weaver hoping the World Series doesn't go seven games.
    Crazy!

But it did go seven games. And Weaver's Orioles would lose.

Pat Summerall hated the AFL/AFC. His last broadcast was the Super Bowl where the Patriots beat the Rams in 2002. Brady’s first SB.

I remember that. John Madden was also in the booth. Super Bowl XXXVI.

    Really appreciate these videos.
I read in one of your earlier videos that you were able to attend games from afc central.
You don’t know how much I envy you.
Absolutely huge Steelers fan from 1975 to present and I collect games from that era.
Have close to 100 games on dvd of the Steelers from that era with Bradshaw and easily another 200 games with if I remember correctly probably close to 40 oilers and raiders and most of the other good teams from that era.
    But I can’t find any Oiler,Browns games from 76-79.
    Don’t think anyone does.
Plus I want the raiders, oilers game from 79 but doubtful I’ll come across that either.
Thanks for taking the time and sharing your games.

My family had season tickets for the Cowboys, Oilers, and Steelers when I was growing up. I was not a fan of any of them. I did however love watching Earl play. I really enjoyed the big game matchups. Saw tons of divisional playoff and championship game from 1971 to 1982. We also attended many Browns games as I also had family in the Akron/Canton area. The games back east were normally over the holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks). My parents both loved sports and it was pretty common to travel to games. My Dad would allow me to pick games to see each season. I was spoiled when it came to attending games throughout the 70's and early 80's. I wish I had some of those Oilers- Browns matchups. Off the top of my head the 2 1980 games are the first broadcast I have located many years ago. I only have the radio broadcast of the 1979 Raider Oiler game. I became a broadcast addict as a kid. Spent many hours in booths and trucks at the games. First started taping in the 70's. Started collecting in the 80's. I followed the Chargers from Johnny U until their departure. Now it's just these old broadcasts and the NCAA for me.

@@mediadugout2684 yeah the only oiler, browns games I have found are 1980 and up.
Man you were so lucky to see those games I truly envy you.
Don’t know if you are interested but there is a site on RUclips called McMillen and wife and he is a huge Steelers fan that has audio of some of the earlier Steelers games from the seventies and possibly some other games too.
      I can’t remember.

(9:51:34-9:52:18; 9:52:56-9:53:17) This was the play -- the Browns' Dave Logan catching a TD pass from Brian Sipe, while being covered by Pittsburgh's Mel Blount -- that, as a still photo, would grace the cover of Sports Illustrated for their NFL preview issue the following season, dated September 8, 1980. Pittsburgh would win this game, but that play by Cleveland made for a great action photo.

Just a few news clips I have already posted. Wish I had more. Crazy thing was I saw the 1st 2 games. My Dad had Oiler season tickets for work. I was a huge Charger fan and my Dad took me to Tampa. Saw the Seahawks later in the year at Minnesota.
