Facebook’s blue verification badge “means Facebook has confirmed that the Page or profile is the authentic presence of the public figure or brand it represents.”
This does two things:
#1. It give your brand immediate credibility because people view the blue badge as a stamp of approval from Facebook to say hey, this brand is legitimate.
#2. if you get a lot of scammers that make fake pages trying to impersonate your brand, the blue badge will be an instant signal to people that your page is the real page.

I have a Business licence but not an article of incorporation. I only have the option to submit articles of incorporation so I get denied everytime I du time the business license instead. What do you recommend?
We'd recommend using another form of identification like government ID or business utility bill!
@@LYFEMarketingAtlanta I have submitted my verizon bill registered on my business. I have tried countless times and still get rejected. Facebook saying they can't verify my business. I have a business license, I have the IRS document with an EIN number, I have mmy verizon bills and still get rejected after submtting all of these. I don't know what else to do now.

I wonder if you can get two different music artist verified from one manager account. Like, if I manage two accounts could I apply to get both a blue check?
Yes, you should be able to do that! When you open up the verification application, there's a question at the top that says "What are you verifying?" Once you select Page, then it'll give you the option to choose between the pages you manage. Then you just follow the steps and repeat for your second artist page!

It also depends on where your target audience is. The lowest cost per result I got is $0.00714 when I target Africa. Maybe Africa is not your targeted market but it's a good way to boost page likes and gain trust at the beginning.
@@anthonyc278 Through some experimentation I've discovered that Africa has lower prices as well. I did that for awhile to raise my like floor but it's having your core audience in another country than the one you're living and playing in isn't ideal.
I have to verify my business page as it has restrictions. Can you help with that? I have submitted ID for the third time. I’m just waiting but any advice would be appreciated.
Sometimes it takes Facebook a while to get your page up fully again, so you may just have to keep trying until they resolve the issue. In the meantime, we suggest reviewing the Facebook Community Standards to make sure that everything you have on your page is in accordance to their guidelines.

How do you know the form or request went thru?
This is what Facebook states! "Once we review your request, you'll receive a notification letting you know if your account has been verified or not. If your request is denied, you can submit a new request after 30 days. Learn more about what happens after you apply for verification."

As long as your page is "authentic - It should represent a real person, entity or business," it meets the criteria to be verified.

Totally failed. I uploaded my legal drivers license and they mailed me the code. Rejected it and said now I have to get a legally notarized form also and upload that!!!

We understand your frustration! Our suggestion is to review your submission materials to make sure they satisfy the requirements. For example, make sure your bio is set up right and double check your articles. Facebook doesn't "consider paid or promotional content as sources for review" so double check that the articles you're providing aren't paid or promotional content.
This is very frustrating. I manage a town hall's Facebook page. I've been trying to get the blue badge for a year now, they always reject me. Did everything right, included links, utility bills, even a note in English (we're not a native English speaking country) from the mayor stamped and signed. Nothing! I understand you have to have many followers and likes, but as we explained in the note, we're talking about an 18k people small town. We have 2.9k likes and double the subscribers plus 60+ post likes at every post. Isn't it enough? It's a small community, we can't grow to hundreds of thousands. And the most ridiculous thing is they reply with no only seconds after submiting the form, so they're not even taking the time to review the paperwork I've send. I don't understand this policy. It's stupid af. At least let me talk or mail with someone so I can get an explanation or what else should I be doing to get this.

in that case why do you always go to he verification code, for which you have to be already signed in? It also say to try a device you have been signed in in the past. I did, 3 devicess, same shit. I am currently unable to sign in even tho I followed all te alternative methods to the code. you send me a code over email, and then you tell me -Nah, we need you to be logged in in order to allow you to log in... My head is exploding. I also sent my ID and all other documents, and still have NOTHING! who is checking any of this??? Seems like no one

If you choose to pay for engagement/such things, then that costs money but the process for verification is free and that is what we are referring to in this video. However, you may come out ahead after getting the verification badge if you are selling products or services.
