You could try cleaning out the ports with a can of compressed air. Do it with the battery and power cord unplugged. Make sure not to plug it back in until everything is dry.

I'd also like to mention that there is a fine crack on the left palm rest of my laptop coming from the corner of the USB port and it goes just under where the Fn key is. It's probably from the times I dropped or bumped the laptop while in my bag. It's not noticable unless you actually look at it. I'm not sure about this but it seems like ever since I found that crack, if I rest my palm around that spot while typing, the flickering line (sorry, I don't know what it's called) would go somewhere else as if I clicked it there and I'd end up messing what I have typed or am typing. Validate Code : 127081 Battery - The battery is reaching the end of its usable life." I did the quick test again today and it all passed, but after going for a 2nd test it showed the same error message.
I wonder if that has made any damage or effect on the inner parts of my laptop.
You also mistakenly pasted the same video reference link for the charger testing and CMOS battery.
@@YTBurner Sounds like your battery may be starting to fail. You could try replacing the battery if that doesn't do it then I would replace the power cord next.

It could be that RAM came lose and that's why it's suddenly giving you problems. It's a pretty common problem with laptops. The RAM can loosen from being moved around over time and then you will get an issue like this. There is also always the possibility that on e of the RAM sticks has failed.

Ok, I have that error code, but the CPU is what is causing it. Is there any saving the CPU? Trying to avoid buying a new one.
If its socketed (removable) and not integrated into the motherboard then sometimes you can try what we call reseating it which means removing it and then reinstalling it. This sometimes works because a CPU error code can be caused by a bad connection between the motherboard and the CPU. Although if that does not work then you most likely need to replace it.
