I watched a similar video right before this one where they did not show the additional steps of greasing the pins and using a wire brush to clean off accumulate rust. Those little things make the difference between a great video and a mediocre one. Great job on showing us the right way to do this!

Nice video! Very well instructed and amazingly clear picture. I would recommend for higher mileage Jeeps or Jeeps doing a lot of off roading to go the extra step to rebuild the calipers. I have a 2004 and I neglected to do that last year and the left front seized up three days ago. Luckily I was close to home, so minimum damage was done. I'll be replacing both calipers tomorrow. 😫

Outstanding and worthy of special praise. You have given me the confidence to DIY my front brake pads. Many thanks.
I wonder how many mechanics (Pep Boys and the like) take the extra time to clean things off and do a thorough job.

It's important to replace both sides though, correct?
On my 99 limited they are 18mm bolts. Also I have Alan head bolts in the boots instead.
Great video.
Perfect!
Haha, you put the tire on at the end it has the old rotor on it. ???
That’s funny my calipers have some sort of extra hardware 😂
