Like jacked-up American football linebackers on literal super-speed. That's a lot of plate, looking as though the Leagues were simply trying to outdo the power armour or even Terminator armour of the astartes. What's that bull-headed symbol or herald arising from the shoulder blades of the red-coloured miniature in the thumbnail image? Great shades of Hashut in space. The Grimnyr would have to be a separate unit because I can't reconcile psyker battle brothers of another, abhuman species of more miniature status. They retain a sense of “space dawi” and their origins as Squats most strongly of any unit. And those guys convey their role and represent their faction effectively. Haha, Narrator. Yes, “good” 'job', GW. Usually I like the company's easy adaptations of real-world basises and influences but the abbreviation and spelling alteration there does come across as lazy and of minimal effort for this species only recently affixed with a Norse fixation. Which is treading upon Space Wolves territory already covered; regardless of race. AS GW so goes, so too goes any distinct identity and my interest wanes. GW would've been better off ultimately sticking with the Squats' foundations. With those shields affixed to their arms and ultimate '80s power-shoulder pads, the overall look of the Einhyr makes sense in concept. Hyper-melee units made to be walking, rushing battering rams and barricades on legs. Whether or not you derive any more content from what remains thus far of these Leagues' lore, GDN, I thank you greatly for what you've covered, how you've presented it and I've nonetheless been interested at how Games Workshop turned out these (almost) not-space dwarfs. What of the influence of Chaos and that minotaur-like symbol, though? Clarification of the threat of corruption to the Kin(dred) is needed, GW. Until next entry, I bid you have an awesome and healthy day, every day, GDN. The Emperor protects.
Oh boy Mike these Leagues of Votann would be the 80's ultimate action mini figures I" can see it on one of the old TV Set's on Saturday morning commercial right after GI joe." 😃👍
Einhyr and Grimnyr are perfect combination Norse mythology is always welcome in a dark Syfy setting Plus the Grimnyr and Einhyr and equipment is very Dependable on whatever needs to be done 😃👍
I don't have much against them, as I don't actually buy anything from them. But some of their decisions regarding lore throughout the years made even me scratch my head.
Yeah why is it they still think people want Age of Sigmar. Tons of people play 40k at Level up gaming in Pensacola and when ever I go in the store we talk and out of maybe 100 people NONE....ZERO not a single person like AoS or the books and yet GWS keeps craping them out. Im reading Goulslayer and man is it a hard read. @@GrimDarkNarrator
My original 40K Squats, in there plaid kilts and wired braids, squeal those trike tires and burn rubber all over these League of Votann mini dwarfmarines wannabes. Seriously now, even though I may not be entirely pleased by many of the things GW does I always lover your narrations. *Kudos, thanks for sharing the fun GDN*

Grungni's Beard, it took the manlings 40,000 years to finally make equipment that wasn't of Umgak quality.
Love the intro music. Im playing warhammer return to reckoning while listening....that timing was just smooth as silk
I'm glad someone recognized it.

The League of Wotan wishes it was as cool as Deep Rock Galactic Dwarves
Magical gifted Dwarfs!
And they say there’s nothing new under the sun.
