Chemos has that on-the-nose planetary designation that denotes super-heavy industrial environment and artificial pollutants through which to singularly define the world. It was interesting to hear of the origins to this legion's homeworld and Fulgrim's earnest attempts, ambitions, to make it over. The Toxic Crusader would've been proud, at first. How nice to not have to eat recycled sewage. Only. The second video image, of the scoured planet surface, is depressingly interesting to look over. Just as the fantastical city after 6:20 is Phoenician-gorgeous and nearly elven in its architectural designs. Nice emerald waters tumbling down from the verdant mountains. If adding “Beautiful” to the name of the former death world level of a chemical-choked surface was good enough for their primarch, then so be it. Too bad about the post-Heresy Imperial destruction of any underlying artisanal foundations possibly remaining across Chemos, though by then I suppose it was all irreparably Chaos-contaminated. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust...another layer of dark irony to this homeworld remade by the perfectionist-then-vain son of the Emperor. This was an entry to your homeworlds subseries that was as satiating of my curiosity as they all are, always. Thanks for your touchdown on the IIIrd Legion's headquarters-that-was, Narrator. Have a healthy and awesome day. The Emperor protects.
Oh boy Mike the toxic crusader was a wild Ride, also I didn't think Chemos population would see the toxic crusader as a perfect warrior but A imperfect man,"😬👍
Oh boy Chemos mining planet was rough during it's earlier years, and Bam!" there goes the whole neighborhood when Fulgrim show up. That artwork at 6:27 looks cool i like the riverways and Rocky plains and the high spiers of the cityscapes, it really show's how Fulgrim intellect advanced Chemos development, also those monuments of diamond I can hear in the background of Minecraft players getting excited, And by the emperor at 10:01 Fulgrim's got some long sharp talons I bet the person who does his nails gets paid Handsomely but Chemos and city monastery fortress would be the image of different sort after the bombardment of the planet, Chemos the beautiful world of art and hidden treachery against the imperium."😃👍
@@declanoconnor3445 Yeah, your right. My point was the writer of the lore for this planet could of used purple mist or purple smog but chose the term 'Purple Haze' wink wink!
Hmm, the reference to the fortress monastery got me thinking, other than on Prosphero I don't recall much time at all being spent on the traitor legions' home world HQs...
Also does battle company amount the same as a grand company? I'm under the impression these captains had as much as 2 to 5 companies you'd expect from a codex compliant chapter.

I do love that short story of fulrgim being found. Graham McNeil is exceptional in putting short storys in addition to the main plot he was writing.
Sounds like an interesting backdrop for players of a 40k role playing campaign.
It was written that Chemos had a 'Purple Haze' in the air, make of that what you will!
Probably chemicals at first then incense when it was prosperous then demonsemen during the heresy

Crazy! The epitome of elitism began his way working at a conveyor belt.
Let that sink in!
He was the boss of conveyor belt workers, though.
Mmm, nice to hear that handsome voice again
Thanks.

Company size was different in most legions. Space Wolves had grand companies, Iron Warriors had grand batallions, others had chapters, etc.
