The original version of "Hard-On" was so subtle and witty -- nothing like the abomination that finally appeared on "Ladies' Man." I remember him performing it -- and "Gurerro," too -- at the Shaboo Inn in Willimantic, CT in the fall of 1975.
There is one song, very good one, that is not on any LC album including these 2 "OTHER" collections. It is "Elvis's Rolls Royce" and can only be found on a "Was/Not Was" LP from the early 90's. It's completely LC singing and composing with the band of Don Was. I wonder why it is completely overlooked
