Em uma revista mensal sobre música, li uma crítica a respeito de seu álbum em 1986. Desde então sua música se transformou em uma necessidade diária em minha vida. E fiz questão de fazer uma tatoo em sua homenagem. I live in Brazil.

I listened to Lenard Cohen with my boyfriend, whilst I was in my teens at an all boys boarding school, most evenings and these songs bring back wonderful memories of the middle 60’s when I was in my teens. I discovered girls when I left school in 1968, but I still treasure my many school boyfriends and Lenard Cohen songs. I love this!!

Absolutely gorgeous. One of the most legato renditions I've heard, but ultimately didn't move me. It is more subdued like a French piece in this recording. The way it's written actually doesn't call for much rubato or flashy moments, but Renee and some others have really made it stand out. A matter of taste.

It gave me the chills.... it's absolutely INCREDIBLE Those two ladies voices together...mmm!!! I MUST know their NAMES!! That was monumental. When one of them starts singing in the higher octave.... man.... 😲🤯😲🤯 it's unreal... Leonard likes to use backup vocalists for his live sets. Which personally doesn't ever do much for me to be honest but those two ladies.... on that song.... INCREDIBLE I'm speechless. WHAT A PERFORMANCE! Can anyone help me out in finding who they are??? I HAVE TO KNOW!!! Ahhhhh

She can make me cry. She affects me like none other, and has been my favorite since I first heard her more than 50 years ago.

There is one song, very good one, that is not on any LC album including these 2 "OTHER" collections. It is "Elvis's Rolls Royce" and can only be found on a "Was/Not Was" LP from the early 90's. It's completely LC singing and composing with the band of Don Was. I wonder why it is completely overlooked
