Ever been to Cuba ? You will see 50 year old cars still running, i grew up with Mitsubishi L300, we had like 500 of them, we buy them, cut them into a pick up truck and use them to transport cows, they’re 30 years old and still running.
I’m in a Range Rover club, we have Range Rovers chasing 400k miles.

This is my favorite Camry Le because my mama had one for years when I was little. To better understand how great the gas mileage it gets. She only had to fill it up 5 times to drive from Oklahoma to Oregon! That is impressive 🙂 at least to me. As with any vehicle, maintenance is a bit pricey. This car isn't a sports car or anything fancy so maintenance is affordable. Mama makes 50k a year and I make 25k a year annually. She has a new Altima. 2022 I think but I still have my 03 Camry and I love it. My dream car is a 94 Toyota Supra but hey that's only a dream lol R.I.P Paul Walker 😭

All the problem is is that the valve seals are drying out. I had a 1989 Camry when I was a teenager that blue one puff of Blue Smoke out the tailpipe on the first start in the morning. King Toyota in Deerfield Beach told me that the blue smoke only in the morning was a sign of engine failure and would cost $2,000 to replace the engine. Skeptical I drove it over to Sears where the mechanic told me to add 1/4 cup of Marvel Mystery Oil every time I get an oil change and it will buy you some time. I literally drove that Camry an additional 200,000 miles before selling it to a relative who still drives it today. So try that. And by the way I think that my 2000 Camry with just over 453 K miles was by far the best generation of the Camry. It's not as quick but it's a lot smoother then later generations. It felt closer to it's cousin the Lexus ES then any of the other Generations. I hate that Toyota keeps trying to make the Camry sportier and sportier when that's not what made the Camry a Camry.

Want to know if car is reliable? Remove bias of owners. It is simple, what type.of car you looking for? For example as this is camry video say 4 door sedan. Now go to autotrader or your favorite used car site. Now do advanced search on 4 door sedans from 1995 to 2005, far enough back to see real world high mileage cars not racking up 200k in 5 yts on hwy. But real world cars. Now look at the cars, first there will be few dodge intrepids fro. That era or ford taurus, or chevy lumina or whatever they made then. Not many last and ones there will be liw mule hardly driven models. May see a few over 200k. Now the one car that old with 200k to 500k will be a lot of camrys. Do not believe me search it. Same with trucks. Sports cars, the ones you see most of will be good vehicles that last. The ones not there died yrs ago. I.just look at cars on road, 20 yr old camrys every where, hardly ever see domestics. Oh honda will be there also, not mazda or hyundai lol
