I have the giggles from laughing at your coffee circles 😂. So much fun!
💐🥰
Gosh I’m only two minutes in and I can’t believe how easy this is. I’ve been dunking it, putting it in the oven, hanging it outside. 🤦🏼♀️ You have made my life so much easier. Gosh, I just can’t believe it. Cathy your the best and I love watching your videos!! Thank you for sharing all of your tips and tricks!
💐🥰
Thank you for your tips and tricks with this process ❤

💐🥰
This is the video where you mention the printer model you use! Got it. I always wondered how your coffee papers remained so flat. Great info Thanks so much.
💐🥰

Butterfly Pea flower Tea from Amazon makes a gorgeous blue to blue violet color😊
I looked it up. They think pretty highly of it don’t they….. $$$🤦♀️🥰💐
I love looking forward to watching your channel!
💐🥰
Thank you for sharing this video. I will definitely try the beets. Love the color.
💐🥰
This was a great video!!! So much easier than soaking the papers on cookie sheets!!! So many great ideas! Thank you!!
💐🥰

Mrs. Cathy you are The Best! I love how you are so considerate of others. Thank you so much for all of your wonderful Tutorials! Thank you for showing, teaching and helping others to understand the creation of new Things! 😃🤗🌻🌼🌸
💐🥰
Great process! I bet if you try the coffee cup method on a dried beet stained paper it might work better. Thanks for sharing you techniques. I appreciate it so much. 💜
Use the papery skins of yellow onions for a pretty yellow dye. Boil them like the beets!
💐🥰
That foam brush method I learned from you. The other dyed pieces 💗📚
💐🥰
Food coloring works great too
💐🥰
Love this less mess way to dye! Awesome results 🎉 Ella
💐🥰
I do not dunk anymore either. I think they turn out every bit as gorgeous dyeing the way you just did it! Hugs 🤗❤️
💐🥰
This has been so much fun. So much easier dying things by using that sponge. I will definitely be doing it that way from now on. Thanks for sharing 😊
🥰💐
That was fun!
💐🥰
Thanks. I really didn't want to drag out a big pan to dye my paper with. What a mess I would have made. This is so much neater and less trouble. I will enjoy doing it your way. It is the best.
💐🥰
Thank you so much for showing your dying method! I haven't had good luck putting paper in coffee method!
💐🥰
Thank you for this! I have admired the way your papers come out and am grateful for this video. I can't wait to try beets! You're the best!
💐🥰
My address is: 5 Pine St Apt G!, PO Box 419, Stockbridge, Ma 01262 and Many many thanks!@@CathysGardenllc
Oh, how I disliked soaking the papers and then drying them and the sloppy mess. Now you have made the process simple and fun. TFS 😊👍😘
💐🥰
Oh Cathy! You just made me so happy! Like other people I read here, I was soaking my paper and it took lots of space, time and energy. I will never do it again now that I have seen you do! It is "fantastic"! Thank you so much for sharing! As always you are inspiring! Greetings from Québec, Canada!
💐🥰
Wow!! I'm sold on this method. I've beenung the dunk method and it's messy and takes for ever to dry and complete. Thanks Cathy for sharing your method
💐🥰
Cathy, I am a new subbie here. I absolutely love your channel. You are just the sweetest! I too didn't like the dipping process either, now I will be dying all the things lol. Thank you for all your wonderful videos! God Bless! Tina
💐🥰
Thank you ~
🥰💐
Oh my goodness Cathy….. I was laughing so much at this 😂😂😂 (in the nicest way!)
I have to say though hat I was so worried you’d end up with a tie dye look on your top!
Thank you for showing this as, like you, I don’t like the dipping method.
Going to give it a try. ❤
💐🥰
I love this video....Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!
💐🥰
These are gorgeous Cathy! I love your technique and videos. TFS
💐🥰
I really enjoy this method of dying paper and laces. Experimenting, for me, is half the fun!
I do alot of tea dying, and found that adding just a few drops of food coloring, gave me beautiful results especially on those mini white satin bows.
Thank you Cathy, for sharing your process with us!
That’s a great comment about the food coloring. Thank you!
💐🥰
I use my brush now also. I love process videos. I hope you start a process series 🥰
💐🥰
I wouldn't throw away the paper towels after you soak up all those colors, I use them like napkins. It really looks cool when used the same way we use decorative napkins. Some of the patterns left afterwards are so pretty!
Great suggestion!
💐🥰
So good. Can’t wait to try this. Thank your
💐🥰
cathy, you can find doilies at the dollar tree store. generally in the party isle, sometimes in the crafting isle.
💐🥰
I so needed something like this. I had a line across the kitchen and hang the wet papers from it. I have towels all over the floor and counters. The mess is huge. No more! 😁.
Thank you for the tutorial. It will help me so much. Being disabled, cleaning messes takes longer and causes pain. Thank you so much. I am looking forward to making a rainbow of colored papers.
💐🥰
Oh Cathy....thanks for the painting method! Why did I not ever think of that!?! 😄 I've always done the dip method which is messy and yes ya get a lot of torn pages. I have an ink jet printer so if I use regular weight copy paper it does ruin the front of the digi...but if I use hp premium 32, I can do a quick light spray bottle method on the back. I have better success with that. I'm going to try painting on the back of the premium paper and see if that works.
I’ve managed to print on dried dyed paper w my ink jet if the paper isn’t fragile.
💐🥰
This is so much fun! Everything looks beautiful. I have to try your way of coffee dying. I don’t like the dunking method, either. Thank you! ❤😊
💐🥰
your paper look fabulous tfs Cathy, I also paint my coffee dye papers it is so much easier ❤
💐🥰
Awesome tutorial, love the inspiration ❤️. 😅 your process is very easy and inspiring. Thank you !!!
💐🥰
Спасибо, познавательно❤
💐🥰
Simmer it? I did not do that but they are beautiful.....except I had Pickled Beets, ate all the beets but the Juice I put into a jar, refrigerator , until I was ready. Then I added equal water to beet juice. They were sticky.....Maybe I should not have used “Pickled” beets.....Oops. I hung my fabric in the trees, dried real fast!!! Binging on you vids..... cant wait until Easter. Mums the word❤😊
Thanks for sharing Cathy. I do the brush method as well for most things. The only thing I dip are little pieces from small pocket size notepads. They seem to go faster dipping and they are not heavy so tend not to tear.
💐🥰
Dried Hibiscus flowers (Or Jamaica in Spanish used to make a delicious refreshing drink) is great to use to & it only takes a little bit to make a vibrant pink fuschia color
💐🥰
I will be getting into a mess doing this, but it looks a lot to fun, I love the pink colour😊💐❤️
🥰💐
❤thankyou sooooo much have to get me one of those brushes yes better done this way and no more soaking for this little Vegemite yes I'm from Australia love watching your posts
💐🥰
I love this method and am going to have to try it! I use the dipping and it is a mess with lots of torn edges.
🥰💐
I love the color from the beets. That color is beautiful. Thank you ❤😊
💐🥰
awesome tutorial ,love this tfs
💐🥰
This is great, I love how mess free it is! Last time I rag dyed my papers, they turned out with really interesting patterns, but sometimes I do want an even coat and this is perfect for it, thank you! ❤
As I might have commented before, I've been in a pink mood recently, I sort of wondered if beets would be good for dyeing, since I don't like avocado dye too much because I tend to iron my papers and they get brown from the heat. So good to know they work, I might try it later after I'm done with my thesis (please send help 🥴😂)! 💕
🥰💐
Thank you so much for showing this technique! I tried the dipping method but it makes such a mess. I was using a bristle brush but the foam brush looks like it works so much better.
💐🥰
3 ring college rules paper. I also use co auction paper as it bleeds when wet.
💐🥰
Thank you for sharing this! I tried the dipping method and in the long run I ended up not liking the results. “Too messy” in design and dying as well.
I have managed to print on tea dyed regular copy paper as long as it’s not fragile. I have an ink jet.
I have wondered how to obtain a cleaner dyed look. And there I can see how to do it. Thanks!!
❤
💐🥰
Oh and now I am going to have to try this mixing as well lol
I have fresh beet water on the stove waiting for me to beet dye papers and now I am going to have to add coffee after I get the pink from the beets first.
A question Cathy on the beet process, with vinegar in the mix do you add bi carb soda to neutralise the vinegar like with the coffee?
I dip and bake my papers 😂 including digitals, when they are grungy to start with in their appearance dipping and baking gives the pages that bit extra grunge appearance and yes, the sound ... oh yes, that sound lol
Have you used Turmeric? I have been meaning to do so, but not sure on how it would behave with the papers. I guess just giving it a go is the way to find out eh?
Those paper towels with the staining from other projects would make lovely background papers for texture and colour.
Those rings were doing what watercolour does when you do the wet on wet technique 😊
Loved this video and your chuckles.
Well I didn’t know people add bi card soda to coffee.. 🤷♀️ no I didn’t add anything to my dyes or coffee. I’m pretty simple and basic. 💐🥰
😀 best way to be, thanks Cathy, I will give that combo of coffee and beet a go probably this afternoon our time when I grab some energy from somewhere 💖
dear cathy....good job,but where do you dry all this stuff??have you a special room?..........☘☘☘I have no space to dry so much things
If it’s nice outside I dry them there. Otherwise is just lay them on a standing heater I have and keep watching them and removing the dried papers.
thanks for the answer@@CathysGardenllc
What a great video. This definitely seems much less messy then what I have been doing and my paper always rips. Does the beet juice have a smell? Does it linger after the paper is dry?
Mine did not have a sent at all. 🥰💐
I wonder, the dollar tree sells tye die sets, I wonder if those would work for this as well
Those dyes are very vibrant and strong. Make sure you wear gloves and add plenty of water. 💐🥰
If you don’t need too much, how about canned beats? You could blend them up and then strain the solution and paint on.?? Does it dry lighter? Thank you!
I spoke about canned beats in my video, however I wouldn’t blend them. 💐🥰
I've used pickeld beet juice. Works well. The vinegar smell evaporates.
Open a can of beets and you're ready to go!
Great idea Cathy. What would you use to make green paper.
I don't know about food, but I've used food coloring and I've used Kool aid(no sugar added). Sometimes mix in blue dye and get a lovely aqua! 🤗
@@nancynorris9822 thank you for your help I appreciate it.
💐🥰
I’d like to know how long to dry the objects, and do you lay them out separately or is it okay to keep them loosely in a stack?
You will need to keep them separated until they are at least damp then you could stack them and let them dry completely. The drying time will depend on the humidity you have in your area. 💐🥰
Have you ever used tea bags?
Yes, I have used them in a few projects. My tea bags are round. So I tend to use them for flower petals. 💐🥰
Great! I have to try this method. Seems so much easier. I have a question when your putting them aside are you stacking them on top of each other? Also how long does it take to dry?
I place them into a container that has mesh sides. Then I air dry them either outside or just place them around my craft room before I leave for the day and they are dry my morning. They are not
”wet” like they are when you dunk them into coffee mixture.
Oops college ruled
💐🥰
First ❤❤😂🙋🏻♀️
💐🥰
Do you have to peel fresh beets or can you do it with skins on??
Skin on is fine. Cut them in 4’s 💐🥰
Cathy beware there is fraudulent activity going on about your 20,000 giveaway. They had me text them which i did but i shouldnt have. I could tell by there english composition that it wasnt you
Right, unfortunately they are out. It’s easy to get fooled. That’s why I really talked about the beginning and ending dates of the giveaway. Stay safe! 🥰💐
