- This is a vintage wedding theme for my friend Nery, who sent me the amazing, gorgeous trims and lace used to create it. The treasures that Nery is able to source truly do jump right onto the journal page. I simply supervised the sewing and glue. ;-)

🇬🇧🦩🦋just a little historical fact. Elizabeth 1 whitened her face with white lead paint as she contracted Smallpox and it left her face badly scarred. Absolutely gorgeous wedding themed journal ❤❤❤

I have so enjoyed hearing the creative joy in your voice as you page thru this beautiful book. LOVE the "best man" page with the gorgeous applique...nearly took my breath away! The dangle pearls are sweet on this page...did you call them dripping pearls? Lace tab with crystal drippings...stunning. I find it interesting that you create pockets with wide lace, choosing to create a lass deep pocket with the border hanging below the page. The deeper beige lace tab right after the Love stencil is gorgeous...as is the cream applique upper corner a couple pages later!! Every now and again, I just have to pause so I can take a long look at page embellishments. I never had a wedding like any of your pictures. We were married by a judge in Virginia City, Nevada...had to walk thru the "Bucket of Blood Saloon" to get to his office. No wedding dress...jeans, sailor blouse and a red bandana holding my hair back. I am savoring all the images in this journal. Thank you for this truly wonderful page tour...much appreciated!!

P.S. I don't mind the kitty cat sounds. I love and cherish all of my fur babies while I have them. We've lost 3 of ours due to old age and health problems since last April, it's been a sad household for a while. Thanks for listening.

@@MrsCog don't know if you'll see this, but 2 of the fur babies we lost were our dogs. And the cat was my Annie (cat in thumbnail) she was almost 16 in people years. Yes, all of them are in my heart and memories forever. Thanks. God bless you.

Oh my goodness!! I was fiddling with a game on my phone and a notification popped up on the top of the page. A new Journal from Mrs Cog!! I couldn’t get to my RUclips fast enough!! This is brilliant! Norman Rockwell has always been a favorite of mine. I love the pictures you chose. The last pictures a favorite. The bride to be is beautiful and fresh in her yellow. You can tell how excited they both are, filling out the paperwork and making sure it’s perfect. While the registrar looks on with a jaded face. Love it. This whole book is just stunning. And your new phone did well!!

Do you also sell the “wedding words” cards you sprinkled throughout the journal ?
I ran coffee dyed paper in printer and my paper got jammed. So then I printed my picture to plain white paper, then coffee dyed it. Fail. The color bled. How do you get such great quality prints on coffee dyed paper?
I print on the copy paper with a laser printer (inkjets use ink that runs, laser printers use toner) and then I tea dye the pages. I have a tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/3kDRgZsAmy4/видео.html I have heard some ladies get their tea dyed paper flat enough to print with, but mine always jammed as well. :-)
