I had some suspicion of a local one. In my town there’s 4 of each - 4 Petcos and 4 Petsmart…only one in particular locks their dumpsters and now I wanna know why, because none of the other ones locked theirs. Sus?
yeah Im honestly having trouble believing that this story is even true at all and that they didnt arrest her for theft for dumpster diving to save some fish
Petco is trash. I took my daughter there awhile back to go pick out a hamster. Imagine our disgust (and shock) when we saw they were literally eating each other from being over cramped with no food!!! Their response to it was just “meh” . Wtf ?!?!?! We reported it to their corporate office and nothing was done. Same staff, same conditions, same attitudes . I don’t know how they’re still able to operate considering the amount of complaints they get .
I was the aquatic specialist here a year or so ago only for 2 months before a quit. Never let me do my fucking job to take proper care of the fish and reptiles. Fuck Nicole and Kasey. Fucking animal abusive bitches.
When I worked at Wal Mart in the backroom unloading trucks. We received some live pets as stated on the box. Guess what they did. They put the live pets in the dumpster. This was in Bedford, TX. At the time I was too scared to speak up.
Petco and PetSmart could care less that they kill animals. It wouldn't surprise me if corporate was the one who told stores managers to do it and to instruct other store employees to do the same. All rules come from the corporate office, remember that.
Thank goodness the fish are taken in alive the ones that survive, awful someone does this to the fish and some passed away, they are cute and need to be treated very well!

People saying they think this is fake just don’t wanna believe it’s real. Unfortunately I knew a girl who worked at a pet smart years ago and she told me how she quit and couldn’t work there bc they threw away live animals sometimes. I’ve always heard rumors about them doing this
Has anyone found any of this happening in Colorado? I just learned of this and I am considering hunting each local pet store to see if I can save any of these creatures if there are any I find. I hope this doesn't happen nearly as often as it seems to look like.

I’m in CoSpgs so we have a total of 4 Pectcos and 4 Petsmarts…out of all I’ve searched so far, thankfully no live animals found yet but one in particular locks their dumpsters, the only one I found that locks them…🤨has me wondering about that one.
@@Nexumera oh gosh… I hope no one puts any more animals in but I think a good idea would be trying to get a lot of people to go at petco or petsmart so there’s no animals to get put in the dumpster and whenever you have free time look for any
Very true! I haven’t found any animals yet but I did find some good stuff to bring home! Like a leash for my dog and a cleaner more efficient litter box for my kitty!
Everyone please please please always check their dumpsters at Petsmart and Petco They throw away "expired " pet food too instead of donating it. Just horrible disgusting companies
These stores in San Diego County supposedly hire veterinarians to care for their sick animals including reptiles. The same veterinarian that wanted $2000 in advance to treat my pet rabbit. What a nightmare

Why not just give them away for free. Thats what i would do. Not throw them away. There are alot of fish hobbiest that wouldve rushed to take them. At least they would have a good home. This os uncalled for and disgusting.
If they could survive (if they are trpocal fish in a non tropical climate they'll dir fast) that could fuck up the local ecosystem severely. Never throw a random fish into a lake or pond. Even goldfish grow huge and end up messing up local waterways.
