There is something about Serbia people can't really describe with words it's about strange feelings that you have in your stomach like butterflies when you are in love, but you definitely need to stay longer in order to feel it.

Belgrade is just small and not representative to have picture how beautiful Serbia is. I love my hometown but more you discover out of it, Serbia becomes more magnificent.

You can pick Danube for your tour with many cities and fortresses and magnificent Djerdap. Central, East, West, South Serbia is where every few miles is next breathtaking moments. Is it natural beauty, mountain, or food, history, tradition, monasteries... Most popular areas are Tara, Zlatibor, Kopaonik... You can go to Drina on West or Rogljevacke pimnice on East... or any other Vine tour if you're interested in that as Serbia is rich with that areas. Zajecar is close there if you are in time of oldest Rock manifestation in Europe. There are hundreds of traditional manifestations like Leskovacka rostliljada, Guca trumpet festival, Beer festivals or musical/food... You can literally spend life getting to know all beauties of Serbia but I can bet that people are what you will remember the most. Belgrade has 2milion people so i wouldn't call it small only if you compare with Moscow 20milion or London , Belgrade is getting bigger they are building new, apartment buildings so in about 5 years it will be bigger.
@@Ds14nSubotica is beautiful! It's about 3 hours north of Belgrade near the Hungarian border. I stayed for two months because I had such a nice Airbnb and I felt so at "home" in Subotica. If you go there, be sure to go to Lake Palic, which is very close by. I went there three times and wore my swimsuit to lay out in the sun! Edit: I also heard Nis and Sombor are cool too. And Novi Sad! I was there for a month last year!
Restaurant food in America, etc. disappoints me. It's like they are too afraid to give too much of the good stuff. A serving of food in Serbia is like a double/triple serving in other countries. I hope that never changes.

It's about 400 km from Belgrade to Sofia, no way the ride takes 8 hours! 3 hours to Nis, then most 3 hours to Sofia, and I'm being generous with the border crossing.
from nis to sofia lacta is 3-4 hours i was check before one year.the distance is small but buses always want 3-4 hours.from kishinev to odessa is 180 km and my uncle need 5 hours with the bus!
Coll video ! I don't get the connection for the buses....You Could go to Timisoara (Romania) , which about 2-2,5 hours ride and choose any means of transport to Bucharest - much shorter way...
@@Doktorkumalo Well , I did travel to Timisoara airport from Belgrade by bus (a few years ago) , but , there is a shuttle service (mini bus , or minivan) that picks you up at desired address. Not very expensive too.

How did that guy conflate Bucharest with Budapest is beyond me, and managed to confuse you in the process :D Did you make it onto the right bus? Usually, the ticket should be labelled for the info on the "docking lane" (whatever the proper term is) where your bus will park and take passengers in. But I guess you got the right bus because people who check the tickets when entering the bus read the info and tell you if you are mistaken. Safe travels my man :)

😁...everything is great man, but: you had bad luck at the bus station to bump into maybe the only people working there who communicate with hands and feet...usually people speak English, or at least to the extent that they don't look like this who "sold you cookies" or the gentleman who mixes up Bucharest and Budapest (and on your bus ticket it says something completely different - Sophia. Those are 3 capitals of different countries that border Serbia)...what can I tell you , if you had to choose such, you wouldn't succeed... In addition, of course, there are entrances from the other side, and the third and fourth, but... when you come across such specimens, it is realistic to get such a (wrong) impression! Good luck, Serbia is sending you lots of love! p.s. I agree with everyone who recommends that you visit other places in Serbia next time, not just Belgrade, because believe me, you haven't seen anything yet.

Out of all areas in Zemun you visited the worst one, Altina 🤦 Zemun is the most beautiful part of Belgrade, just make sure you visit the old town next time 💪
Koji bratina. Koliko god pogrešno zvučalo ruši neke stereotipe o crncima. Jako fin, gotivi Beograd iako ni grad, a ni ljudi nisu bili baš toliko ljubazni. Mislim nekako ovo je srž života. Istražiti svijet, pomoći zajednicama, biti čovjekoljubiv, human. Malo me studije ubijaju. Nema dana kada ne pomislim da želim ostaviti sve i krenuti putovati.
Дошо неки Немац у неко село у Србији и шетао природом. Спази га неки сељак и када је увидео да је швабо постане још љубазнији са њим и позове га да уђе у двориште на ручак са његовом породицом и са њим. Немац стао и побегао назад код свог пријатеља са којим је дошао из Немачке, иначе Србином, и каже му да одмах позове полицију јер је управо један човек покушао да га убије. И када је овај наш чуо шта се десило почне да се смеје а Немац га гледао у чуду. После му овај објаснио да је то део наше традиције да угостимо случајног пролазника па чак и да позовемо да преноћи у кући. Немац није схватио да се тај обичај у нашем народу сматра Богоугодним јер ће га Бог наградити за такво дело. Има тога још по нашим селима, ту и тамо.
A stereotipa ima i o nama Balkancima koliko hoćeš. Posebno ima puno stereotipa i Crncima iz Amerike,zbog vijesti,medija,nekako je sve tamo protiv njih. Samo Crnci nisu svuda isti…on je Amerikanac pa nekako rusi stereotipe o Crncima iz Amerike,ne svim kolektivno :)
Here is one fun fact about Serbia: If you are facing any kind of problem we will do anything in our power to help you. On the other hand, if you are living your best life and smiling without any kind of problem, people might envy you and gossip behind your back. :D This is because we tend to believe that honest people can't afford to be happy and problem-free, and also, if we help you, we keep that in mind and wait to see if you'll reciprocate. If you don't, we'll most likely gossip about you for eternity. :D

Koji bratina. Koliko god pogrešno zvučalo ruši neke stereotipe o crncima. Jako fin, gotivi Beograd iako ni grad, a ni ljudi nisu bili baš toliko ljubazni. Mislim nekako ovo je srž života. Istražiti svijet, pomoći zajednicama, biti čovjekoljubiv, human. Malo me studije ubijaju. Nema dana kada ne pomislim da želim ostaviti sve i krenuti putovati.
Дошо неки Немац у неко село у Србији и шетао природом. Спази га неки сељак и када је увидео да је швабо постане још љубазнији са њим и позове га да уђе у двориште на ручак са његовом породицом и са њим. Немац стао и побегао назад код свог пријатеља са којим је дошао из Немачке, иначе Србином, и каже му да одмах позове полицију јер је управо један човек покушао да га убије. И када је овај наш чуо шта се десило почне да се смеје а Немац га гледао у чуду. После му овај објаснио да је то део наше традиције да угостимо случајног пролазника па чак и да позовемо да преноћи у кући. Немац није схватио да се тај обичај у нашем народу сматра Богоугодним јер ће га Бог наградити за такво дело. Има тога још по нашим селима, ту и тамо.
A stereotipa ima i o nama Balkancima koliko hoćeš. Posebno ima puno stereotipa i Crncima iz Amerike,zbog vijesti,medija,nekako je sve tamo protiv njih. Samo Crnci nisu svuda isti…on je Amerikanac pa nekako rusi stereotipe o Crncima iz Amerike,ne svim kolektivno :)
Here is one fun fact about Serbia: If you are facing any kind of problem we will do anything in our power to help you. On the other hand, if you are living your best life and smiling without any kind of problem, people might envy you and gossip behind your back. :D This is because we tend to believe that honest people can't afford to be happy and problem-free, and also, if we help you, we keep that in mind and wait to see if you'll reciprocate. If you don't, we'll most likely gossip about you for eternity. :D
Hello !!! Don't get me wrong , but Belgrade became the dirtiest capital in whole Europe !!! And also dirtiest city in Serbia in comparison with other cities ( Nish , Sombor , Novi Sad , Krushevac....) !!! 😥😥 We lost a lot of mental and spiritual culture since the end of Yugoslavia and all wars in 90's !!! Too many bad people on streets of Belgrade 24/7 !!! 😡
