You're a "Seinfeld" fan excellent. An NBC show that ended up in reruns on WWOR, in New York, the flagship of the real Warner Bros. network and more popular network, UPN. The WB was never Warner Bros.ish at all. My WB network will be true Warner Bros. and UPN will be revived by me. Not that UPN didn't have a popular and glorious duration from 1995 - 2006, cause it clearly was more popular and WSBK spit on CBS's faces. Not only did they have all of UPN's run, including the last 2 weeks. They made the switch to MyNetworkTV instead of unpopular The CW, which was CBS's shitshow.
Make that WWOR in New York/Brooklyn (because Brooklyn is a separate city from New York - the city where Jerry and Larry came from too - Brooklyn, the angriest city in America LMAO [although I don't mean that in a good way necessarily])
@@robjackson5245for me in Houston it aired on KHTV 39 which later became Houston’s WB on September 20,1995. I respect your opinion as always, now that you mentioned UPN (aka United Paramount Network) I do know that some stations that took the UPN Affiliation aired Soul Train in the last 13 years as well as some WB Affiliates and Dual UPN/Affiliates that aired soul train along with some independent stations and FOX affiliates depending where you live.
This time and era takes me back to a place when life was FUNKY AND GROOVIN!!! High school dances and house parties were soooooo much fun! We won't be seeing these days again 😪 😔!!! I still have my Soul Train jacket.

I remember watching on Saturday mornings there was nothing like it. watching all the artist for free not like today where you have to pay.

I vaguely remember this era of Soul Train as a youngster. But this was my favorite theme out of all of them!
Mine is too when I was a baby. My father recorded it on tape way before Don Cornelius stepped down as a host 30 years ago.
I was born in the mid-70s so this is actually the version I remember most from TV.
This played every Saturday at noon on my ABC station (now FOX) WGHP Ch. 8, right after cartoons was over.

TheRenard10 You are half correct. Howard Hewitt and the female group Body sang this. The lead singer of Body and Howard Hewitt on the lead vocals. Not many know this, but I believe it was the late, great George Duke himself who used an auto-tune to say “All aboard!” (Used on one of the animated theme sequences) and he also did the “Get on it baby!” near the end of this jammin theme.
