About to move in a week or two for an apartment in East Memphis and all I’m hearing is unreliable maintenance, bugs and water leaks in everything unless you wanna pay $1,500+ a month

It’s like my 4 year old son tells me when I have to go work in Memphis: “Dad, better take a gun if you are going to Memphis!” There is opportunity and money to be made in this city. There are great people in every neighborhood of this city. There are also people watching you for any sign of weakness and will pounce at the first opportunity. The trick is to never give them an opportunity. If that sounds like fun to you, come on and join us. If you live and work in Memphis, you’ll need to learn the different neighborhoods. You could be on one street and a gang war is in progress, and three streets over, literally a couple hundred yards away where you can still hear the gunshots, there will be an 80 year old house on 1/8th of an acre that somebody wants a half a million dollars for. It’s a crazy place, and our motto is literally, “Grit and Grind.” Be safe out there.
Why don't you tell people about Southaven and Olive Branch. After all you are licensed to sell in this area. No crime to speak of, police response time of 5 minutes or less. No power failures.
