Difference between Silverado & Sierra? Silverado heads for the mud puddles…Sierra goes around them. Where can you find a Silverado on a Friday night…at hunting camp. Sierra? Country Club.
I agree on the bose system is not that great. Bose dials the bass up at low volume and hardly any bass at 50% or more volume. 1st upgrade is an powered 10" subwoofer.
I can't wait till the turbo 4 cylinder and Duramax versions come out I'm pretty sure almost no one will review those versions and if someone does I'm pretty sure who ever reviews it will be a motor snob and scoff at the idea of a 2.7 liter turbo 4 cylinder and a 3.0 inline 6 Duramax. But I feel like no one who reviews trucks for Truck Central will do that could be wrong.
This was a great review. I have always found it kind of ridiculous how similar the Silverado and Sierra are, especially when the Sierra is noticeably more expensive. The GMC looks better in my opinion but in reality they both look weird as hell...so it could be considered the lesser of two evils.
Did the truck you're driving the GMC SLT did it have adaptive shocks you know the computer controlled viscosity Magnetic Ride shocks because those are awesome and they help the ride as far as I know and from what I've been told the Chevy does not come with them!?
Did he say the GMC is "less in your face than the Silverado"?!....I'm a GMC guy, but with the chromed out 'Spiderman grill" it's currently the most "in your face" truck out there.
Don't buy the turbo 4 there's a chevy dealer across from the shop that does my oil change on the car I got now he said people had bought the 4 and all of them blew up in three months the turbo 4 can't handle a big truck for very long because it's too heavy the turbo 4 may be good in a mid sized truck but not for a full size the weight of the sierra puts too much strain on the engine so don't get the turbo 4 I'd recommend the 6.2 or the Diesel they both are hooked up to the 10 speed transmission and the 6.2 gets pretty good milage the Diesel gets the best fuel mileage I'm getting one of these slt Sierra's I'm not sure if I'm getting the Diesel or the 6.2 so I'll test drive them both and see witch one I like best the sierra is beautiful it's way better looking than the ugly silverado and the Sierra's got a better reliability rating the sierra and the silverado couldn't be more different the sierra is the only gm truck I'd buy and that's coming from a Ford man I'll give anything a chance if it proves itself reliable there are many brands I do like but GMC is the only gm product that's any good
They did nothing. Except retrained pay out and job search for 2500 people. that plant was a lost cause 20 years ago and should have been closed down along time ago. I feel for the people but outsourcing of plant to other countries is the government lack of employment protection. They should tax the shit out of these car company's that have foriegn manufacturing plants. That's my opinion and I don't mean to offend, but when wells Fargo laid off 3000 employees in 3 weeks I did not hear a peep out of anyone. Just saying
@@null2268 Yeah now that the 10 speed is behind that 6.2 I def think it has much better drivetrain than the previous 6.2 that I've driven. That 8 speed is a clunky shit transmission. Great engine though!
Happy 2019!! Which would you rather drive... Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra?
Does this have adaptive ride control that the Chevy does not offer?
GMC all day
Truck Central GMC stands for Give Me Chrome - I’ll take the Chevy. Love the bow tie.
@@thomasschepis342 Have a 2016 6.2 love it!!!!
I have had 2 Silverado’s in the past but I recently purchased my first gmc. I have to say I’m not disappointed
GMC looks better than the Silverado.
Bought the same truck 3 days ago. Love it!
Moment of silence for Pontiac and oldsmobile

Guess everyone should buy one of each then 😂
Hatin on same company lol
@@TruckCentral I'm a Chevy guy myself…just pokin’ a little fun at my fellow GMC buds. I love them both!
The Sierra is owned by the dentist.
The Silverado is owned by the guy who doesn't go to the dentist.
The dentist, who cares more about heated seats than what's under the hood, and only bought a truck to try and feel like a real man.

6.2L motor is a must. So the Sierra is the better version over Silverado. Just my 2 cents
It's basically a luxury version of the Silverado.
Isaiah Wring really just looks a little difference. The level of luxury is about the same
I like the panorama sun roof.

i wanted to see it was kinda fast with that 6.2 and the 10 speed not talking the entire video

The most important question, what is the gas milage for the 6.2 ?...
Is the 6.2 420hp the best hp gas american stock truck?
The Raptor’s 450hp Ecoboost is in the F-150 Limited this year
convex Shelby f150 750hp.
Hmmm that’s a tough one
When did the 2019 gmc came out?
Did the truck you're driving the GMC SLT did it have adaptive shocks you know the computer controlled viscosity Magnetic Ride shocks because those are awesome and they help the ride as far as I know and from what I've been told the Chevy does not come with them!?
Silverados imo are the most hideous new truck to come out, whereas the gmc sierra has the nice front end and looks SO much better overall.
I wish gm would get away from the Bose system, love the truck I’d like to see a good quality sound system like Harmon Larson on the upper trim levels
Really funny to listen to! Love it! Also Love my new AT4 what a Beast.
How many miles do you have on yours? Interested in shooting an Owner’s Review for us? (We’re starting up a new season of them next month!)

To be fair, the truck in this video isn’t the Denali… but you do make a good point.
I thought only Denali had the 6.2 I would have gotten the 6.2 On my Slt if I would have known
50k+ damn gm pricing normal people out of the game
That's every truck though

Silverado Cousin? haha More like the Silverado's fraternal twin brother haha. Nice truck overall.
$70 grand out the lot,damn!
I totally agree.
Because of what gmc did to oshawa I wouldn't buy the product

Matt Schuver Reliability of Chrysler in general is so bad. They’re basically disposable lease vehicles these days.
nah you must be smoking some good shit
Neither........it just seems like Chevy is less wasteful than GMC
