Thank you for sharing some of Alvin's presentation. He is correct that you are blessed with the community that you have and I feel blessed that you are sharing it with us. Although sometimes you probably think the videos repetitious, I find them inspiring. Coming from a family where everyone is spread so far around the world and who don't get together, I really enjoy seeing true community in your videos and am inspired to grow whatever community I can with the friends and family I am in contact with. I have never met Aĺvin Law; but i do remember hearing of him as he went to school in the Sask. city where i used to live. He has done wonderful things with his life and is an inspiration to many.
The Welsh have a word, Hiraeth, that is difficult to define but means, as close as possible, a deep longing for something, especially home, or place you can't even put in to words. I feel this whenever I watch your videos. I know no place is perfect, but the lives you live on the colony seem so complete, and fulfilling.
Cream cheese is good with just about anything in my book. I can eat it alone. Lol what a wonderful party. I agree with Alvin your community is one of the best. I think I would love having my family close by. My family is 600 miles away. Too far . Thank you so very much for sharing with us.

If you read from the beginning, did you notice that the shepherds were still on the fields ? And did anyone notice the reason for Mary's husband Joseph to travel to Bethlehem ? That was the second reason I was going to mention. The first reason was foretold by Micah some 700 years earlier that the messiah was to come out of Bethlehem. Now, to cut my explanation short, every one please put your thinking caps on, what time of the year was it that Jesus was born, remember the shepherds were still minding their sheep on the fields. Raspberry chipotle cream cheese-Love it- sweet, creamy with a little burn! SOOO good! Raspberry jam, a can of chipotle (however you can find it) and cream cheese just mix and eat. There is also a BBQ sauce that is good on Pork

I'll have to try to find that card game called Anomia. By the way I saw that gingerbread syrup and wondered if you have ever made gingerbread waffles? I'm interested in learning how to make a gluten free version of it.

What is worse is to have an internal disability ane be called names because you are not able to work or function normally, but you are not outwardly disfigured. Not a mental disfunction but a physical internal disfunction.
I'm there! The unseen disabilities are practically laughed at. I get called lazy, but I know my limits. Thank you for sharing 😊
Yeah, I’ve been visually impaired all my life and because my eyes look normal, people think I’m illiterate.
Slowly over time the rest of my body has crumbled and I’ve been a wheelchair user for over a decade.
Today the lift wasn’t working at the train station so I had to crawl down two sets of stairs so I could catch the train 😮
(I went shooting, we use gas cartridge air rifles on a 10 meter range, with audio sights called ecoAims, I have to balance it on my arm as my left hand doesn’t work properly - I scored 99-100-99-100 on four sets of targets!)
I’m in constant pain, but I try to distract myself from it by being busy, tonight I helped at a squirrel scout drey (the youngest section of scouts, aged 4 and 5 years old!) where they made Christmas baubles, cards and biscuits and sold them raising nearly £100 to buy presents for children that don’t have any gifts this Christmas.
I’ve been a scout leader for twenty years and I love it, and would encourage anyone to volunteer in their community if they have any spare time.
Some people only see my disability and don’t see the real me.
