I have a 98 b14 sedan se which came with the sr20. Good job on the information. Its so hard to find parts for this car it's helpful to hear about compatibility. Also been looking for a setback exhaust and didn't think there was anything available so thanks for that too.

It’s got a GA16DS right now but I’m eventually going to SR20 swap it. My goal is 500 whp and I want to know which engine would get to that figure more easily and be a good reliable daily at that number, the SR20VE or the SR20VET?
Hey boss, what is the 5 speed trans used? 30 series? Asking as my donor car has an rs5f50a which uses very a different mount, bolts are all different. Looking around the wrecker I found an sr18 p10 primera that looks like it uses the same mount as my car (a ga15 powered nissan wingroad) and has a rs5f32a gearbox in it. Perhaps there is a better box to look for? I heard the p11 box is swapped in, I'm happy with an open diff, for now anyway, as the lsd units are quick to go. I would hope to use se-r axles and cvs
@@sr20tech82 cool, some deeper research says America didn't get sr20s with the 50 series trans, so not a common swap. Would need custom mount for box to chassis and probably custom axles, I couldn't find anything suitable for 27 spline inner 25 outer anyways. So for ease I will use the 32 trans, se-r axles and mount should suit my y10. Had to grab a different crossmember and rhs engine mount and bracket (mount to engine) to suit. Might need a different aircon pump or hoses for it too, ga15de to Sr20de. Have to look harder at the harness to see if there's any differences there now

I doubt you’ll see this but I bought the same care but automatic I can’t find anything to show me how and what I need to do a manual swap with a sr20 would you please do a video on how to convert auto to manual
If I get a car in the shop for that service, I will be sure to document it. Basically you would need a complete Manual SR20 donor car preferably the same year. Transfer the complete harness and drivetrain

I have 2 questions? Is the non lsd trans that came on the sr20 the same as the ga16? And is the shift linkage for the cable trans the same from 91-99.
The transmissions are different
No 2.0 and 1.6 are completely different transmissions
Is it the same set up for the sr16ve swap into a Nissan n16?

Stock SR16VE trans, stock B15 2.0 trans, or a B13/B14 trans with an Mfactory 4.7 or 5.1 final drive

Yes. An SR16 trans is a 32v trans just like the stock b13/b14 trans. They are interchangeable
