    Great tutorial! I used to own a 1999 SE-L t25 turbo from 2000- 2006. Wish there were these types of videos. Great on you for doing this engine swap video in depth.... not too many resources for the FWD community.... that's how it was even back in the day :( Still love these motors!

    Thanks for posting this, it's like the SR20 bible. Really helpful to see this engine out of the bay, you helped me identify a connector I hadn't seen before.

    This video was very very helpful! Especially the part when you spoke about the electrical part and what they are and where they connect! I actually had my hood open and followed along while you explained the wires! Niceeee job on the video, loved it!!!

    Excellent video bro, I have a doubt I could use a sr20det cylinder head in a sr20de block? I damaged the original one and only found one of sr20det in good condition.

      It’s interchangeable. You can use a DET head on a DE and vice versa. Just make sure it’s the proper DET head for your configuration. FWD and RWD DET heads are different

    I appreciate the content. I just started getting into the B13 platform. I have a 93 2dr sentra Ga16de that I use for food deliveries. Bought a '92 NX2000 with 70k original miles that had a bad rear end hit, runs great even the ac works! I plan to swap everything over to the sentra.
    From reading the forums, the 91-92 & 93-94 harnesses are different. I understand that I have electronic speedo compared to the cable in the Nx2k. I would like to use the speedo from the NX2k since it has a tach and works perfectly.
    My question is, instead of finding a 93 sr20de harness, can I just swap the dash harness from the nx2k to the 93 with the engine harness, and everything will work, ok? Or will I have to swap all of the body harnesses in the car from the Nx2k for it to work? Thanks in advance.

      Yes. Swap the dash harness, gauge cluster, and engine bay harness. Once you do that, the SR20 will be a plug n play affair

    Bro I have a question how much you charge for a engine swap ?????

    • @sr20tech82
      @sr20tech82  Год назад

      This is a rather hard question to answer because not every car is the same and not every swap involves the same amount of labor. But I do try to work with all budgets. I could give you a ball park figure though. I would need to know what car, what year, what engine is going into it, and is the car auto or manual

      Well I'm about to pickup a b13 it's a 1.6 and I want to put a ve in it I also have a 99 g20 with the version 1 ob2 so It's the only sr20 g20 with the best of both worlds it comes with the same set up u did with the car you swap for your friend at this point I will even settle for a sr20 de with the same setup like the swap u have posted the b13 is a 94so please let me know

    • @sr20tech82
      @sr20tech82  Год назад

      @@amarijohnson1969 you would be looking at $1000-$1500 in labor. That’s if you bring the car to me with all necessary parts for the swap
