Thanks for the great video, so much going on in addition to Hyperia- seems they really are pulling out all the stops to make the park look great for 2024 season. I’m from the North East and Thorpe Park doesn’t really get marketed up this way as much as Alton Towers and Flamingo Land, so often gets overlooked as a destination, it’ll be on my to do list for next year though, for sure.
Very interesting. One thing I noted was Detonators ride sign has been replaced with the old version which I’m happy about. I’m hoping they also bring back the original count down
I used to operate detonator back in 2002/3 with the countdown.i used to start the countdown late and drop them on 3 or early and drop them after the countdown had finished. They thought it was broken
it just looks very clean!! whenever I go it always looks murky and covered in dirt, so if it has had a bit of clean (as maintainence or by the rain) then it actually doesn’t look so bad
@@adventurespoons yes, they retracked it mid season so it was rushed trying to get it back into place, to me it just looked painted when they put it back in it didnt feel smoother
@@adventurespoons What actually happened was the new track from Taziker didn't fit. Thorpe then repainted the track they'd removed and put it back in place. I've asked on the passholder Facebook group why they've removed it again, their response was track inspections/testing.

It's definitely worth it! One of the best parks in the UK in our opinion 😊

I think it’s just wet from the rain and looks darker in colour 🤔 it does need a paint though doesn’t it
