Well Telecom is not animating this season , instead it’s Bandai Namco Filmworks (which Sunrise studio belongs to ) they usually have good animations, so I’m hopeful.

@@savagecabbagedank3771 Gundam, Code Geass, Cowboy Bebop, etc. Idk which studio is working on the series Bandai Namco Filmworks is a fusion of all the studios Bandai Namco owns and while most employees are from Sunrise, they also have ex Wit Studio employees, Acta (which is currently doing Wistoria based on a manga from the Danmachi writer) and other smaller animation studios.

This show could be at the top level if they do this right.
This season needs at least 30 episodes, it is one of the best arcs in the webtoon along with the hell train.
There's definitely enough content for 100s of episodes
This season definitely needs 24-25 episodes, return of the Prince and workshop battle arc are 110 chapters, the manhwa chapters are short in tower of god s2, in the first season they adapted 6-7 chapters per episode, they got to adapt 4-5 chapters per episode for season 2, so all the contents of, return of the Prince and workshop battle are adapted.
Also we got to remember that there are alot of fights coming up, so season 2 is definitely gonna require more quality than quantity 😂
If they do 2 cours it might work.
I feel like the Hell Train arc is a saga not an arc, it has like 5 arcs in it (floor of death, hidden floor etc).
Japanese studios have a shit record of manwha adaptations. We can only hope that they do it justice.

It will be better cuz Bandai Namco Filmworks are now animating it . Sunrise from Gundam , Code Geass , Cowboy Bebop belongs to this company
The best part about ToG compared to One Piece is that while One Pice will end shortly after the one piece is found, ToG has the possibility to continue after they beat Zahard and find out why he locked the higher floors, they can then reach the end of the tower, but even then it can easily continue, because (a theory of mine) bam might become an axis (spoilers for anime readers ig) and the story continues there OR the story continues outside the tower but bam isn't an axis. OR same universe but SIU does a story based on an axis. The SIU universe has so many possibilities to continue after beating the main villain or maybe who knows, rachel becomes the main villain at the end of the tower.
It has the potential to become the next MCU
I think SIU’s heart will explode if he has to continue the story beyond reaching the top of the tower /lh
@@hermi1-kenobi455 It might be a different story about the axis in the universe since he hinted the existence of Axes, so it might not be Bam after the tower but about other axes, and it doesn't even need to be as long as ToG.
One of the things you also have to remenber is how massive the chapters got in the midle of season 2. So there's a lot of chapters but also a lot of content in each chapter

I think best-case scenario might be a split 2-cour. Imagine getting cliffhung at the end of "Devil of the Right Arm", then the payoff of having Workshop Battle as part 2.
I started reading the webtoon right after Ep. 4 of S1 happened middle of the crown game and haven’t stopped since 😅 The series is still going on strong and isn’t slowing down anytime soon 🔥 This will definitely be the One Piece of Webtoon mark my words there will easily be over 1000 episodes if a studio that truly cares about the story picks it up 🤞🏽

When it comes to world building, I feel like the floors of the tower give a parallel to the islands of one piece and how each arc usually happens on a certain floor/island.
Started reading ToG back in 2020 when I was stationed in Korea then watched the anime. Season 2 will be absolutely amazing let’s be real! I just hope they continue to stay true to the characters and the story!!
As somebody who is up to date with the TOG webcomic, it's an amazing gyat dam story.
I audibly gasped seeing that glimpse from the teaser. I didn’t even know they had released it, I have to go watch it!
Tower of God is my favorite series ever. Season 2 could be one of the best anime ever made too. Im glad that more people will finally encounter this amazing story.
Tog is goated i stopped at the beginning of s3 but that's a good world to adapted. Solo leveling is enjoyable but tog is on another level. The art fits so well as for animation effects i don't mind as long as i dont get epilepsy. Love the characters and every arc slowly moving to the top of the tower.

@@patgray5402 It's not. Outside of people's high standard of animations, people forgot when Solo Leveling really became good which is the end of Season 1. We're still in the prologue of the series before it starts peaking.

I remember an animator confirmed they were working on season 2 way back in 2021. I'd love to imagine that means it's gonna come out looking good and be given a good amount of episodes, unlike season 1 where they crammed the entire 80 chapters into 12 episodes. This needs to be 2 cour, and just going off current material, they could easily make 7 2-cour seasons
If the anime had 26 episodes or + it would be the One Piece of Webtoon especially if they plan to cover the entirety of Tower of God season 2 webtoon they need more episodes, with Return of the Prince Arc, Arlene's Hand Arc, and Workshop Battle Arc (peak arc)
Any big development in the story? I dropped it like somewhere in season 2 years ago because it has the pacing of a snail like a good chunk of web toons.

He did tell her off once but he hasn't really done anything to her except shout at her that one time. Since that time they've been apart and Rachel has kept on doing her rat things while Baam has been training up and becoming broken
I finally caught back up on TOG, now the anime back after 4 years
I dropped TOG around the end of the Nest Arc. I got to get back into it, but I was so burnt out, and then my depression hit I just put it on the back burner….
It is hard sometimes, when you enjoy something and then you just don’t. I will try to catch up again, especially if the anime brings back Kevin Penkin.
I hope everything has become better for you now. I also hope you can enjoy the series again as you used to.

I still can't believe that ToG webtoon is still running and the main character is still beating new characters in new floors, like Luffy is beating new characters in new islands.

I started reading tower of god when season 1 of the anime got announced in 2019 and I stopped reading it after this Arc that season 2 is covering ended so I'm going to go back and read the whole thing I hope season 2 is great I'm excited for it too Chibi let's. just see how it plays out.

Really happy to see the animation quality improved, but the only concern I have is it getting rushed like it did with season 1.
Honestly, im kinda disappointed that they didnt continue with the style used in S1, since the S1 was actually on point with the art style...
Their are three things in my opinion they must get right in my opinion.
1) bam vs mazino
2) the introduction of FUG as as organization
3) bam vs reflayho

If we were to have a Big 3 of Webtoons I got Solo Leveling, Tower of God what would be 3rd?
I'd say the first season was okay, but it did have its fair share of problems such rushed pacing, removing important lines and scenes and dialing back the mystery and intrigue to make it feel like a more generic Shounen series.
Rachel's motivations weren't supposed to be explicitly spelled out and the exact nature of the deal she made with Headon was never shown in the original.
Bam isn't supposed to unleash giant golden pillars of Shinsu.
Both of Hwaryun's best scenes got cut.
Khun never opens up to Rak about his sister.
That said I think some of the English Dub voices acting was pretty good Rachel's VA was phenomenal, Khun's voice matched his character very well.
I'm hoping they're more faithful to source material in season 2, if it really does become the "One Piece" of WebToons then maybe they can redo season 1 someday after they've caught up.
I'd say as far episode count the most logical would be 2 Cours with 24-26 episodes that they can get all the way to the end of the Work Shop Battle Arc since that is a very Good Stopping point.

Indirect Spoilers, beware reading:
I don’t know about the One Piece comparison. The webtoon has had a completely different feel, since SIU came out of the last long hiatus. All the villains in the arc before the break have suddenly become good guys, and some of the loose allies (Yama mostly) feel decidedly nerfed to me. I’ve put off reading the last 6 months of reading, so I can binge the current arc, in hopes that I’ll change my mind (because season 1&2 were absolutely awesome).
So excited for the series....I have re read it 5 to 10 times. Incredible stuff
Aside from properly translating all the lore to the animated format Tower of God needs consistency in animation the most. Like every season should have consistent 7.5-8/10 animation. If it will have 10/10 animation in 1 season and then slide show in another it wont’t work
If my memory doesnt fail me, this season should go up to the Zigaena arc
Tower of god season 1 was mid adaptation with some minor scene / dialogue scene , change some scene , max 90% to 93% webtoon adaptation and 79 chapters convert into 13 episodes .
This is the best Manhwa adaptation by far! They better give it the respect it deserves.
All I vaguely remember is the story being called tower of simp, still hoping that the world building and characters make up for it tho

I dunno. I dropped the series and never came back. The thing is that constantly the stakes are being risen and there is always a bigger, more impossible treat and the series doesn't know how to break. And that is it's biggest flaw. You never have a chapter where they are just hanging out or doing things. I personally became numb to the ever rising stake and "oh no, now they have this thing, will they make it?" yes. yes they will. It is nothing compared to the thing which comes after.
