Thanks man! Finally someone who explains it for noobs! Please make more videos about tips about how to make this counting easy. Like we don't need a lot of counting for control decks rather we need good idea of the card rotation and stuffs like that which varies from one to another deck styles. But seriously man thanks! I've been to a few pro channels and they just say so much stuffs, good stuffs no doubt! but fuck up on basics like what's the basic simple idea to counting and how to make it proactically possible. Really loved that part where you converted elixir to damage. One gets an idea that some exlixir thrown on the map was worth it or not! Again man thanks!
Ey this comment means a bunch dude! I always try to cover the basics so that everyone gets it, and maybe thrown in a few more complex things later on (compounding with punish/investment decks etc). I'm glad you enjoyed, and hope that it helped you out in game! :D
Man, your videos are great. You explain deep concepts of CR that other channels don't. This video makes a lot sense for me now, i'm 5000 trophies and i had to discover it all for myself. It's good to see this tipe of content in a vídeo, helps a lot of people. Keep Up the good work!
A good way to keep track of elixir is counting the elixir your opponent uses to counter your elixir/the elixir you use to counter theirs, then by watching your elixir bar build up, you can count the elixir they have one by one each time your bar goes up. This works for me, it definitely takes practice but it gets easier the more you do it, it does gets kinda hard to do this in double elixir but you can easily repeat the process once they reset/get to max elixir
Pro? RG and Ebarbs are broken and OP cards. They may be abit easy to counter but they deal thousands of damage left alone. You don't need skill using those.
any card can do a lot of damage left alone, my pb is 5300 so I know, and royal is more usable now but ebarbs are just trash and anyone using it about 4600 is just bad at the game at least rg is competitive, but its not a no skill card despite what you may think, a lot of skill goes into defense other wise your few rg shot won't matter when their golem or whatever reach you tower@@dylanking5701
At 6:35, aren't you actually two elixir down? I don't think it makes sense to include surviving troops in your elixir lead because they aren't physical elixir. Just keep it in mind when deciding whether to counter attack or not.
Cool, never though of counting elixir like that. I always thought you needed to keep a constant 10 elixir bar in your head with a counter that adds 1 every 2.8 seconds. Now I feel stupid for how much easier it would be to use this method.
@@BaileyOP went from 600 to 850 trophies in a day thanks to this, it helps a lot to count and i didnt think of that before, i'm really new only started last week
Casuals and new comers often don't grasp the idea of having elixir in the arena. I've seen a person calling _countering Wizard with P.E.K.K.A. a -2 elixir_
If the opponent cycles a moderately expensive card at the back of the tower (ie musketeer, any wizard, exe etc) and you have rocket in hand, would rocketing that troop and the princess tower as your first play of the match be considered a worthy trade?
5 elixir cards are great rocket targets, but you have to be a little careful for 4 elixir cards. If you somehow knew your opponent is running a cycle deck (e.g. hog) just as you are, then rocketing a musketeer is ok. You'll see players rocketing each other's princesses in bait vs bait matchups because that's the max value they'll get for rocketing a tower.
Depends on your matchup, however generally I'd say yes. If you're Log bait against 4 small spells, it's value to Rocket anything for 3 elixir because your win con is now Rocket cycle. If your opponent is Three Musketeers, you want to save your Rocket for Pump/3M. With that said, generally yes you want to Rocket 4/5 elixir troops :)
This is all good, but now Im 5k trophies with lvl 10 - 11 cards vs people with 12 - 13 level cards. :D I realize that I am probably doing well and I just climbed too fast, but now the game is not fun anymore. More often than not I lose to overleveled opponents. Very rarely I have a good match vs someone on similar level.
And that's where you start counting elixir! This skill gives you the advantage over those overlevelled players - you can beat anyone if you use it well enough :)
You forgot to mention that it sometimes is beneficial to attack first. Attacking first lets you control your opponent’s cycle and give you a damage lead assuming that you’re ready to defend. Same concept as rocket cycling or miner cycling. Whoever starts first will have the lead and most likely win. You’ll lose if you always try to wait. Of course this isn’t the case if your defense isn’t solid. If you deal 300 dmg and your opponent does 500, he’s going to win if you don’t change something. Also didn’t mention how people try to buff about their elixir bar. If you’re down 4 but you play something in the back at 8, your opponent may think he’s only up 2 or 3 and won’t push as hard. Doesn’t mean cycle something useless and give him a bigger elixir lead tho. Just playing something you were already going to play a little bit earlier than when you actually would’ve reached 10.
It's a good comment, although it felt too inconsistent for me to put into a 'definitive guide'. Attacking first only works in some scenarios because most decks can't deal with being down the elixir, and bluffing isn't good to teach imo because it's very difficult to judge. But I do get what you mean bud :D
So I noticed you made a video on elixir advantage, but could you make a video that specializes on elixir advantage? My deck is based on this as it it giant skelly, balloon, baby dragon, dark prince, ice wiz, mega minion, zap, and spear goblins. It’s really balanced and I’d like to see you learn it if you want
Ok, but what about expensive pushes your opponent makes in the back, by the time they reach the bridge they would have a lot more elixir and be able to spawn a mega knight or something like that, we can't push our own cards to their side because then they would get a defenders bonus with the queen towers, and if our defence fails they can add on top of the expensive push and wipe out every tower and make me wanna throw my phone into someone's face
when your opponent makes a huge investment, you need to put a punish card on the other lane (e.g wallbreakers, bandit, something cheap that can do tower damage) so they have to either decide to stop investing or defend your counter push, making it easier to defend there's a youtube thing about it

Look, I think you put a lot of time into your videos and I believe you want them to reach/help as many people as you can. While the content was good, I found your speech and enunciation very distracting. Since you make videos for a hobby and possibly a profession taking some time to speak more clearly and pronounce words correctly will help you immensely e.g. 4 - "FREE" is not 1 but 4 - "THree" is. There were other examples but you get the point. Find some videos on youtube that help you work on your speech and you will not only better yourself but your videos as well Best of Luck, Keep making Clash content and doing what you enjoy
